I have a Vegetarian colleague. Usually whenever we eat with him, we must go to somewhere that serves vegetarian food. So I have actually been to the nearest vegetarian restaurant to my office which is the Organic Leaf Restaurant near ss2. Every time we go there, whatever food we order, the food would be finish in seconds the moment the food arrived! Seriously, not many people like to eat vegetarian food but no one can deny that the food here is amazing! The variety is myriad, and when you look at the menu, it looks like normal menu with Vegetables, Tofu, Chicken, Fish, even spare ribs! Our usual order would definitely be the assam curry fish which tasted good even though I am usually a person who dislike fake meat vegetarian food. Another favourite is the eggplant.

This time round, all we did was tell the waitress whom we knew very well, to just fix us all the specialties she has. We did not even ask what she would be serving us and just let the food taste surprise us when it arrived and surprise us it deed! One thing is for sure, we digged into all the food the moment it arrived! The waitress said most of the food that came to us were special and unavailable in the menu! So we surely felt like kings and VIPs.

The Spare Ribs which we have never ordered before came served looking like REAL red char siew except it tasted different! We could even wrap the spare ribs in soft bread that looks like pita.

The fried orange pumpkin with salted egg was amazing. Crunchy! Even the small crumbs were walloped!

The chicken in shallow claypot came with red and green capsicum and the result? Fabulous!

We also had rojak without prawn paste but some creatively made vegetarian paste which was lovely too.

The tofu was amazingly soft and smooth and the mushroom sauce was delicious to the extent that I finished every drop of it as it was not even salty!

As usual, whenever we frequent this restaurant, one thing is for sure! The fresh pressed juice where we could still see the fruits intact!
