I finished work really late again. It was a pity my friend I had to wait till 9 pm to have dinner with me. So I am left with no cafe to go at this time.

Since I had a craving for Japanese food tonight, no matter how I needed to have sashimi and had sashimi salmon (RM 25.90) at Kissaten since it is the only Japanese cafe with great ambience especially at night. After all, the last time I came with here with my friend and his gang, we could not get a table upstairs in the roof top where it is airier, cooling, and feel better and almost like a Japanese bar.

The salmon is thick and fresh so it is good for all raw salmon lovers. As a started, the salmon was incredible. Added to it, the Cold Sanuki Udon (RM 15.90) was incredible as well. It was the first time for my friend to try cold noodles and I was surprised that he is willing to experiment with food too. There were some other ingredients in the udon such as seaweed, octopus flakes, fried rice pop. We liked the soup so much.

The BBQ food here is quite delicious and marinated really well. The BBQ Chicken Thigh (RM 4) is amazingly tender.

The lightly grilled Salmon Belly Yaki (RM 15) was fantastic, with just a little squeeze of lemon. The flesh is so tender and succulent.

The BBQ Tsukune (RM 4) was so tasty too. The Portobello Tsukune (RM 14) is the best BBQ portabello I have ever tasted so I guess it justifies the high price we had to pay for it.

The BBQ Scallop (RM 14) is so juicy and succulent and shiny.

The Hot Green Tea is mroe expensive than BBQ meat at RM 5.90 per cup. A bit exorbitant for merely refillable tea.

The entire meal came up to RM 121.35, a bit too pricey. I guess when you see most BBQ stuff at RM 4, you kind of over order? Perhaps! Anyway, for good food in fantastic ambience, this is the right place to be. Oh, and if you want to do it the truly Japanese way, order a sake or any beer to pair with the food.
