The dim sum price quite cheap. The char siew pao texture so sticky but the taste of the content quite nice. The Lao Sa pao is not nice because the content all absorbed to the skin and not watery. The home made beehoon taste consider ok. The dim sum quite sticky also. Only the Lor Mai Kai taste nice !!

When you pass by Jalan Kelang Lama after The Scott Garden, you tend to see a yellow banner hanging in front of the restaurant about their Dim Sum selling at RM3 per plate. In fact, apart from Dim Sum their ala carte menu not expensive either. Here are the dishes that I ordered for my lunch.

Teow Chew Style Steam Fish (RM45), this is simple Chinese recipe with simple ingredients such as tomato, preserved vegetable and tou fu. I like this dish so much because I can drink the “fish soup”. Sourish, sweet and appetizing.

Steamed vegetable (RM15), we were struggled for the cooking style of this vegetable, belacan or preserved beancurd or fried. Eventually, we have decided to fry as is. Sounds more healthy right?!

Celebrating new year with prosperity with Lou Sang, and this time at Yan Yan A One Restaurant. There are various colour of items included crackers, ginger, carrots, seaweed, jelly fish, preserved onions, and salmon fish. The salmon fish is fresh and the crackers are crunchy. After tossing the plate of "prosperity" ingredients, the taste is now sweet and its good to eat. Thumbs up

This deep fried fu zok is very nice. The reason being nice is because they only fried it once you place your order. Unlike other dim sum stall where after they fried it then they leave it there until someone order it. The skin is very crunchy. You dip it with mayonnaise instead of sweet sauce and chili sauce will make you want to order second plate.

This is my second time eat chicken feet after my first tried at kar kar Lai. Just want to test my courage again so order this chicken feet. The chicken is covered in sweet sauce. So basically I don't need to dip any chilli sauce to eat it. But then after put it in mouth, I still find the texture very funny. So conclusion is won't order this again in future.

The standard of the siu mai here has dropped. Last time the siu mai here used to be very nice. The biting texture was very nice. The siu mai steamed till the very right timing. But now the skin getting thicker and thicker. The amount of pork inside the skin still remain. But the taste already changed.

I seldom eat porridge when I go to eat dim sum. One of the main reason is because I prefer to eat ha Gao, siew mai all those than porridge. Since I never eat one before, one day, I decided to order porridge. When I take the first bite, I straightaway feel very thirsty. They put too much of pepper into this porridge too. It is heavy flavoured. I don't really enjoy it.

Yan Yan A One Restaurant is among the many Chinese restaurants located in Old Klang Road. I always thought that it serves only dim sum and bak kut teh, but surprisingly it is good for its Chinese dishes as well. The fish is served in a claypot and very flavourful when braised with the thick sauce. The sauce is quite salty and tongue-tickling with strong aroma of ginger. The fish itself is very fresh, with white flaky flesh which is so smooth and delicious. I enjoy the simple meal there.

Dim sum is nice whenever I feel like to eat it, except during lunch hour. I feel that lunch hour is too hot for me to have dim sum.So one night, I came to this 24 hours operated dim sum. This restaurant is different from others because they only steam your dim sum after you placed your order. So I tried their Loh Mai Gai. Ignore the glutinous rice part, but the chicken, mushroom are all so nice. First time I tasted sweet from Loh Mai Gai. The rice is a bit dull I would but overall is quite OK.
