Uncle Duck (HK) Restaurant (Closed)

Obvious from the restaurant name itself, it is famous for duck dishes. However, we did not feel like eating duck that day, so we settled with noodles instead.The dumpling kueh teow soup came with 3 dumplings and a few pieces of cabbage. The dumplings are quite packed with minced meat and prawn. The prawn was quite a big piece, fresh and succulent. The skin of the dumpling was quite thin and translucent. The kueh teow was soft and slightly sticky in texture. The soup was plain ordinary soup.

Mee Sua Soup. This mee sua came with 2 cuttlefish ball, fuchuk, dumpling and fish cake. The clear soup was quite ordinary. The mee sua was quite thick, the texture was soft and not too mushy. The cuttlefish ball was quite springy. The dumpling was filled with minced meat and prawns wrapped in translucent skin. The beancurd-alike piece was quite unique, soft and a tint of sweetness in it.
