One of the Tong Kee Brother Confectionery is located at Subang Jaya. It is one of the famous bakery shop in Subang where they specialize on egg tart. Upon entering the shop, I am attracted by the smell of freshly baked bread and the colourful pastries and cakes glowing from a bright showcase. The pastries here are "non halal" as they used lards, bacons and hams. My first thought was went to get their famous egg tart from the heated showcase. Somehow, I get attracted by the Kaya Puff beside the Egg Tart, so I decided to get both of them. The egg tart is nice to eat while it still hot. The pastry part is so crispy and the egg part is so smooth and soft. As for the Kaya Puff, the pastry again is very crispy, the kaya portion is just nice and is more solid type. Overall, I think the price is reasonable and the pastry is really tempting and delicious.

As for the Black Sesame Pastry, the pastry again is very crispy, the inside is fill with lotus paste. I also bought Char Siew Bun. The bun is very soft and the char siew is tasty. Overall, I think the price is reasonable and the pastry is really tempting and delicious.

Tong Kee Brothers is famous for their egg tarts. Currently they selling cakes, buns and pastry in the bakery shops now. The 4 kinds of colors mini swiss roll attracted me to try it. It comes with yellow - vanilla taste, pinkish - red bean taste, purple - yam taste and green - green tea taste. The rolls are soft and the aroma of the taste is not bad. They are quite real and is not like the fake coloring taste. I like green tea the most. Good for tea time sharing in the office.

Whenever I passby SS15 Subang Jaya, I would buy a couple of Tong Kee egg tarts. I prefer the layered crust than the short crust. Tong Kee egg tarts are freshly baked daily, the egg tarts always out hot and fresh. It was so fragrant. The egg tart was baked till golden brown. The layered crust was soft, flaky and crispy. The egg custard was silky smooth and soft. The sweetness was just right.

Bread shop that we often seen would be like Bread Story, Bread History, Bread Delicious, but yet to come to this, Bread & Tarts, hehe Therefore, this is quite new to me. Rather than being hesitant as I yet to hear any feedback on thie bakeries from anyone, my curiosity have prompted me to give it try. It comes pretty naturally to me when talking about attempting new food, am more adventurous and happy to try as I love bread. So I got this Matcha Bread from the shelves. Am attracted to it at first

So I got this Matcha Bread from the shelves. Am attracted to it at first glance due to its artistically-designed loaf pattern. Only learn that it’s actually matcha loaf, which is green tea bread. I love green tea product! If were to compare to Matcha Bread from Bread Delicious, this one from Bread & Tarts, has much more intense aroma of green tea, thus much more delish. As this is purely on matcha without any azuki (red bean), you may spread some butter on it to enhance the flavor. Nice to be paired with a glass of milk too^^
