I personally feel Chicken Rice Shop's Curry Laksa and their Hainanese Curry Noodles are almost the same. But Curry Laksa is more expensive by almost RM3 maybe is because of it's additional ingredients -of fish balls, wantons and such. But to me, the curry broth is almost the same. Which is why I didn't quite like it. Because if it's a curry noodle dish, then the curry broth matters. But at Chicken Rice Shop, the taste don't quite make the mark. Not spicy nor savory enough. A bit bland actually

Hmmm... I didn't really like it. It's basically lots of sugared water and bits of cubed colored jelly topped with 1-2 slices of lemon. The water is waayyy too sweet, and the cubed jellies are actually bland and tasteless. So overall, it's certainly very unhealthy and gears towards being diabetic-prone too! Had it not being included into the set meal, I would't have ordered it on its' own definitely

It's basically buffalo-type chicken bings. Marinated with Prime Honey BBQ Sauce, sprinkled with white sesame seeds and deep roasted to perfection. The key secret to good BBQ chicken wings is its' marinate sauce; and at Chicken Rice Shop they use Honey BBQ sauce. Which tastes pretty good. Although I have tasted better, their version certainly aint bad either :-)

Chicken Rice Shop's Pak Choy with Oyster Sauce is just OK. Very normal. Not bad but not great either. Just the standard fare, almost like those you would prepare at home. Very basic. Steamed Pak Choy drizzled with Oyster Sauce. The Pak Choy is quite alright. Not super fresh, thus not crunchy. But it's not limp or looks yellow either; which means they also do not use expire Pak Choy :-) Overall, acceptable

The Braised Egg at The Chicken Rice Shop really aint bad. Not as good as the Chinese Version of course; as I'm sure it's not braised in as many herbal mixture of the Chinese version. But it's still pretty good. Not too oily, and the eggs are hard boiled just right. I always order a whole egg and eat it together with my single portion chicken rice. Makes a good side dish

Along with Crispy Roasted Chicken Rice, the Prime Honey BBQ Chicken rice is another of my favorite at The Chicken Rice Shop! Totally loved it. One of the reasons I loved it was because its' never available in the typical Chinese Chicken Rice -hawker style establishments. Though it's RM1 more expensive than the Roasted version (at RM9.50); it's totally worth it! The BBQ Chicken was super tasty, bbq-ed perfectly and super flavorful with the addition of honey

The Sphere is a VERY small mini mall located at Bangsar South. The architecture of The Sphere is pretty impressive , with really nice al-fresco settings.. however there's pretty limited choices available in terms of dining. In fact, amongst mass market brands; The Chicken Rice Shop is about the only one. The outlet here is pretty empty most times, and service can be rather slow. Luckily food quality's on par with their other outlets. My favorites are their Prime Honey BBQ and Roasted Chickens s
