Ma La broth and lamb slices. We match the Ma La broth with lamb slices. The Ma La broth was very lackluster as compared to Pork Bone or Sha Cha broths. The ma la broth was quite diluted and the ma la taste was not there. No doubt it was spicy but somehow we felt that it was below average. The lamb slices however were good, tender and aroma with lamb taste. The restaurant said that they will improve on the ma la broth.

Pork Bone broth and seafood. There are 4 types of steamboat broth available, and we ordered the pork bone broth. The small pot of steamboat consisted many ingredients and almost filled up the whole pot. The pork bone broth was good, it was thick and had just the right amount of saltiness. It has thick pork bone essence and eat together with the seafood, it was delicious.

Mango Green Tea. Tai Yuan offers a lot of varieties of tea and some even have special combination of ingredients. The setting of the restaurant was very simple where the outer part of the shop has drinks counter and inner part of the shop is dining area. The mango green tea combination was interesting but it somehow taste weird. Both flavours are very strong until I felt that it was not matching.

Sha Cha broth with pork slices. Apart from the normal broth, I spotted the sha cha broth which is Tai Yuan's signature broth. I ordered this broth paired together with the pork slices. The texture of the broth was thin at first, but after I have mixed everything together, the texture became thick. It was very nice to drink with a slightly saltiness. The broth was very aromatic, and paired well with the pork slices.

Mango Blended Smoothie. I tried the mango milk tea last time and proved to be the correct choice, this time I stick with my own decision to order the mango blended smoothie without any mixture of tea or other ingredients in it. The mango blended was very thick and difficult to sip. The taste of the mango was strong and it was not too icy. This drink went well with the pearls.

Mango Milk Tea. Since I savoured the tea varieties during my last visit, this time I ordered the fruit-based version. I ordered this mango milk tea which proved to be a correct decision. The mango taste was strong although the color was not too orange. It was not too sweet. The texture of the drink was thick and it has strong tea taste too. I enjoyed this drink very much.

Pu Er Chrysanthemum Tea. I was not feeling too adventurous that day, so I ordered this conventional combination - pu er and chrysanthemum. Turned out that it was a mistake as the combination tasted just weird. Pu Er gave a bitter taste while the chrysanthemum gave the sweeter taste. The grass jelly and konyaku was standard, chewy. It was not too sweet as I ordered less sugar.

Taiwan Season Tea. Apart from the flavoured drinks, they offer some specialty tea also. This Taiwan season tea was one of the special one. The combination was pearl and konyaku jelly, less sugar, less ice. The drink has a strong tea taste but to some people, it was very weird taste. The pearl and konyaku jelly was a lot to add further chewing texture into the tea.

Hot rose si wu tea. I wanted some hot drinks that night and despite the big menu with lots of drink varieties, the hot drink offer were very little. I ordered this hot rose si wu tea. Once I open the cap, the smell of herbs were very strong and I could not figure out which four types of ingredients that they used to make this tea. The first taste to me was quite bitter and weird taste. After that, I accustomed to the taste already.
