Sushi Zen (Closed)

Chicken Katsu Curry Rice is another of my favourite during cold days. The curry is not too spicy, just nice as a gravy to the delicious fried chicken on the rice. The curry is very appetizing and smell a lot like turmeric with curry powder. The taste is very unique, not the curry mee type of curry nor any similar like Thai green curry. The portion is not too big, so ideal as main meal but to supplement it with other light sidelines.

Chicken is well cooked and steamed. This is a simple rice with chicken and mayonnaise as garnishings. It also have plenty dried seaweeds and some spring onions. The chicken meat is tender and juicy, just right to perfection and the rice is well cooked. The sweet sauce is mixed into the rice making it a great combination. A filling meal and there is also other side meals available in Sushi Zen.

Sushi Zen has very similar food menu with Zanmai Sushi, and the salmon sushi roll is another highlight. The salmon slice is thin, and very fresh, easy to eat. The mayonnaise sauce with fish egg, blends well with the whole sushi and this is very filling. A very nice kiosk spot for a quick bite. The salmon roll comes with roll of seaweed, crab stick and crunchy cucumber too.

日式串烧chicken teriyaki ，嫩嫩的鸡肉配上浓浓的BBQ 酱怎的很不赖。Salmon sushi roll,三文鱼为主角上面配了美乃滋酱和鱼卵，咬下去感觉到鱼卵的脆三文鱼的鲜，很赞的配搭。爱吃刺生的同学可以选这道寿司。

Zen Sushi is actually located around the Gardens and Mid Valley. It can said to be the middle point of the two malls. Whenever we are around Bangsar and feel like Japanese, my first thought would be Sushi Zanmai but it is always full! So instead of heading to Sushi Zanmai, we went to Sushi Zen instead.This soba was the large version. Shared with my boyfriend, it was a good choice as it was enough to fill both of us up.
