Chocolate Oat cookies. They were having a promotion set that day, and the set included a piece of cookie. I chose the chocolate oat cookie. That was my second time having Subway cookie. The chocolate oat cookies was made of chocolate blended with some oat. The texture was soft, unlike the normal crunchy cookie. The size was big and it was not too sweet. It has some chocolate taste too.
Chicken Teriyaki with bbq and chilli sauce.For chicken teriyaki, I think that breast meat was being used, as the chicken slices were quite tough. The teriyaki sauce was coated to the chicken slightly and it was sweet. The vegetables such as lettuce, tomato slices, onions were fresh and crunchy. The BBQ and chilli sauce gave a combination of salty and spicy taste. A normal sandwich.
Roast Beef Slice with bbq and ranch sauce. I always go for Sub of the Day when I am having Subway. This time, I ordered the roast beef slices with honey oat bread, BBQ and ranch sauce. The roast beef slice were slightly tough though, I would prefer it to be softer. It was slightly salty. The ranch sauce gave some onion flavour to and the BBQ sauce gave some saltiness to the healthy sandwich.
Chocolate cookies. I always wanted to try Subway cookies but never had a chance. That day, I finally ordered one piece of chocolate nut cookies alongside my sandwich. The cookies was big in size, bigger than the normal cookies. Upon one bite of the cookies, I noticed the texture was very different from normal cookies. It was not so crispy, but soft and very slight stickiness instead. The cookies were not too sweet, just nice.
Tuna is always my favorite subway order and together with the crusty hearty Italian bread, this is by far the most value for money sandwich out there. It’s efficient and allows you to select the vegetables that you like as well as the sauce. It has 2 ice-cream scoop of tuna and a few slides of cheese, toasted – this is a must, add-on some vegetables and finally mayonnaise. Not the healthiest of sandwich but it’s pretty darn good I’d say! The tuna was fresh and sweet. The melted cheese was slight salty and cheesy. The vegetables were crunchy.
