Great for lunch! LOL Since i work nearbyPreferably dine with more than 5 pax, so you can order about 4-5 dishes and you'll have a GREAT lunch. It'll set you back about RM25 per pax for a GOOD lunch They have set lunch for about RM15+ Service is good and they have electronic gadgets to call them for service/bill. Lunch time is usually packed so if possible try to go earlier than 12pm or later than 2pm.

The place is spacious and is able to cater for big group gatherings. Curry Chicken Kapitan. We ordered the Medium size and half chicken was served. The curry was creamy and rich flavour, just nice for my liking. It as a tint of lemon juice and tumeric taste. The curry was not spicy at all, to my slight disappointment. The chicken was cooked till tenderness, and it was easy to scrap off from the bone.

Asam Brinjals. The brinjal was cooked with petai, chilli and carrot slices in asam paste. When the dish was served, it was very aromatic due to the asam smell. The asam was tangy, spicy and sour at the same time. The carrot slices added some sweetness to the dish. The dish is rich with flavour. The portion was generous. The brinjals were thickly-cut and were slightly soggy and oily too.

Deep Fried Sotong (squid) with chilli sauce. There was generous portion of deep fried sotong served together with normal chilli sauce. The squid were dipped in flour and deep fried. The squid coating was crunchy and the batter was quite thick covering the squid. The squid was fresh. However, the squid was quite chewable in texture, slightly dry and on the hard side.

ABC, Sago Melaka and Red Ruby Water chestnut with jackfruit. The sago Melaka was served with shaved ice with massive amount of gula Melaka (coconut sugar) being poured on top on sago. The Red Ruby dessert has water chestnut and slices of jackfruits. The coatings of the water chestnut made the dessert slightly sweet. The jackfruit added a distinct taste and texture to the dessert. It became diluted when eaten with shaved ice, not sweet anymore.

The ABC was a standard version, shaved ice with red bean, corn, cendol and nut, tasted fine.

Sri Melaka is a place to dine for melaka delights and the restaurant is indeed a hard way to find them too. The restaurant is famous for its melaka food like the curry fish,asam,sambal sotong as well as the pandan chicken We had the pandan chicken here is very nice where it is very soft and juicy.It is well wrapped with the pandan leaves and being bbq. The texture is soft and the taste is simply tentalizing.

We had the pandan chicken here is very nice where it is very soft and juicy.It is well wrapped with the pandan leaves and being bbq. The texture is soft and the taste is simply tentalizing.
