Ever think of a light lunch? Perhaps a healthy diet lunch?This is definitely in your choice to go for. Fried chicken salad comes with fried chicken in small cubes or pop corn chicken we called it, cherry tomatoes, both cabbages and fresh sweet onions. It was good in the chewing texture as well as the taste. I had this bowl of salad with my friend back from UK. She loves it so I guess this is still up to the standard of what it should be.

Chocolate Indulgence. It was one of our colleague birthday, so our boss bought a cake - Chocolate Indulgence for her as this flavour is her favourite cake. The cake consisted a few layers - chocolate cake, chocolate mousse and cream. The cake was soft and heavy laden with chocolate flavour. The cake was sweet overall. The mousse was soft. It became extremely soft when we left it there.

Honey lemonade. It was a hot day, and obviously we ordered some cooling drink. The honey lemonade drink came with lemon slice and lime slice. Although it was mentioned honey, the honey taste was not there, only a faint taste of it. The drink tasted slightly sour and tangy due to the two citrus fruit used. It would be good if more honey was added to the drink then it would be perfect.

Thai seafood spaghetti. It is an unique dish created by Secret Recipe. The Thai seafood spaghetti consisted button mushrooms, squid, prawns and baby tomatoes. The portion was quite big. It was not too spicy till it numb your tongue, it was just nice. The spaghetti was a bit dry though. The ingredients such as squid and prawns were fresh, no fishy taste. Not a bad dish.

Raspberry Cheese cake. It was my colleague's birthday that day, and we decided to give her a surprise cake. The waiter lit the candle for us. I chose the cheesecake because it can hold the candle instead of the normal high sponge cake. The raspberry cheese cake texture was soft and the cheese taste was not empowering, so I do not feel muak eating it. The cake was not too sweet either.

Carbonara with beef strips. That day I felt like eating carbonara, so I ordered this. The spaghetti came with beef slices topped with sprinkles of cheese powder. The cheese smell was extremely strong, so I push them aside. The carbonara sauce was thick, not the creamy liquid type of texture. It has strong taste of garlic, which was fine with me. The beef slices were a bit salty.

Ice lemon tea. During weekday lunch, Secret Recipe offers some express lunch set that came with ice lemon tea. It came in a tall glass with ice. The essence of the ice lemon tea was sunk at the bottom and it had to be stirred thoroughly to balance up the taste. It was sweet and had the tanginess, sourness of the lemon. The drink was not diluted and it tasted very refreshing.

Caffee Latte. The service was not very attentive during weekday peak lunch hour, it was very slow. The food came first before the drinks. The caffee latte came not so hot as the hot coffee was mixed with some milk. The color was milky light brown. It has slight tint of coffee but not very strong. The drink was quite diluted and not for heavy coffee drinker. The milk was fragrant.

Fruity Yoghurt Mix. The service was not so attentive since we were seated on the second floor and during the peak lunch time hour. The drink was a mixture between fruits and yoghurt. It was quite thick and well blended. It was cold but not icy cold, which was good. I couldnt make out what fruits that they use, but the drink was fresh and thick with yoghurt. It was not overly sweet.

Tomyum Kung. I wanted to order the normal tomyum noodles but it was finished that day. So, I switched to tomyumkung which was slightly more expensive because of the tiger prawns. The presentation was not nice as it looked lack of ingredients. Indeed, it was. There were only two tiger prawns: one of fresh and succulent, the other one was mushy. Then there are a few mushrooms. That was it. The broth was spicy but lack of omph.

Vietnamese Beef Noodle soup.The noodle came with beef balls, beef pieces, beansprout and some parsley. The soup was filled with all the beef essence. Plus point that it was served hot, and the soup calmed down the stomach. The meat ball was solid and springy. The beef pieces were soft. The beansprout gave the noodle a crunchy texture. Overall, it was slightly salty and the green chilli paste added some spiciness to it.

Spaghetti Aglio Olio. The spaghetti aglio olio came in a big portion with lots of squid. The presentation looks fiery red because of the chilli that they used. It was spicy no doubt but lack of the aglio olio flavour which was the garlic. I did not taste any garlic pieces in this dish, the only thing I tasted was the chilli. The spaghetti was quite tough. The squid was big and springy, which was the only ingredient for this dish.

Mac N Cheese.I love to order Secret Recipe’s Mac N Cheese when I am craving for cheese. Their version was good. It has big portion of cheese melted with the macaroni. The cheese was thick, sticky and aromatic. Every piece of macaroni was coated with the cheese firmly, even the mushroom too. After eating half the portion, I started to feel a bit muak and I had to put lots of pepper to mask the smell.

Chicken Parmigiana. The dish came alongside with potatoes, baby tomatoes and lettuce. The deep fried chicken was covered with cheese. The chicken was deep fried till golden brown and it was very crispy. The meat was slightly dry due to the deep fried process. The melted cheese added some saltiness and fragrance to the chicken. The potatoes were soft and salty, while the baby tomatoes were sweet.

Chocolate mud pie cake. With the variety of cakes to choose from Secret Recipe, I, being a chocolate person, chose the chocolate mud pie. The presentation looks good. The cake was divided into several layers that consisted of chocolate cake, cream and covered with dark chocolate. The cake was soft and the cream was sweet. Overall, I enjoyed this cake very much.
