Mee Siam and Wheat Soup was good. Laksa, Chee Cheong Fun, was ehhh. Service and environment was pretty good. Would take tourist friends.

We visited this looking for some 'authentic local food'.When I went in, I was surprised at how affordable everything was. I didn't expect that from Midvalley/Gardens.It's a self-service concept, where you order at a counter and then they send it to you later.I strongly recommend the sticky rice with curry. Pulut Panggang was not bad. The filling is not much but it is okay. The ‘pulut’ is a little hard but okay. Not that delicious but okay.On the other hand, the mini green ku is actually tasteless. If not for the filling, it wouldn’t be edible. It is soft and quite bouncy. Just that I don’t find it particularly delicious.The talam is sticky, tasteless and hard. I don’t enjoy this kueh the most. ABC is cooling especially on hot weather such as Malaysia. There are generous of amount of cendol, jelly and also groundnut. The cendol jelly is not fragrant but it soft. I notice many love to order this. The rice is fragrant and smell good. It was quite soft too. I do love the curry chicken. It is soft and the sauce really goes well with the rice. This is one of my favourite dish here and would order this again. Hoping that the portion or the rice and the curry chicken sauce could be bigger.Nasi kunyit+curry chicken RM9.80

The dry curry mee is okay but a little salty for my liking. The sauce could be more because I sure do not have enough to cover the noodles. Noodles wasn't that soft and it was a little feeling of eating 'wires'. There weren't much side adding to the curry mee other than chicken which I think is not quite normal for dry curry mee. The sauce wasn't that good compare to the curry mee so this is a pass for me.Dry curry mee RM9.80

Rojak is horrible. The crackers were equivalent to rocks that I almost lost my teeth from it. Fruits were okay and fresh but there were more cucumbers than fruits.Sauce was okay but too little for enough dipping. That is also the reason that the crackers weren't soak enough in sauce to make it less hard. I hardly get to taste the sauce because it was so little. One need to line up and know the number of the table so it is better to get a seat first before lining up to make the order. They will send the order to the table later. The nasi lemak is wrapped with the banana leaves and it will be heat up for the customer unless you requested that you want to eat it cold. It is quite small but it is really tasty considering that a common food such as nasi lemak is also well-made. The rice smell of fresh coconut milk and the sambal is just nice. It is not

9 Layers CakeThis is ‘Kau Chang Go’ or literally translated from Chinese to be called 9 Layers Cake. This cake is made with more contents of coconut milk which failing so, would result in a not so delectable bite. Some edible food inks are used alternatingly to spice up its appearance. It is quite chewy in a way and l love to tend to enjoy them layer by layer. Somehow, I find joy in eating that way The common colour that we can find is green, red and white overlapping nicely.

Tapioca KuehThis tapioca kueh used to be my mom’s favorite local delicacy. And me, being the good daughter of my mom, naturally follow suit in liking in as time passes by. It has a bit of uneven surface but not till it is too coarse to be eaten. Besides that, this kueh also has quite a springy texture that comes with the fragrance of tapioca. Quite a nice bite if it is not too sweet and do take note that this delight can be quite fibrous.

Fruit RojakYum, this bowl of fruits mixture serves to be a good fix after some main dish. Fruit rojak, no longer foreign to us fellow Malaysian and is typically enjoyed by all walks of life. Most importantly, the fruit used must be fresh and juicy. As you bite on the guava, you get to enjoy the crunch of it alongside some rojak paste to add some flavor to it. Red Bean KuehSeeing this kueh brings back lots of great moments during the younger days. Am actually not a huge fan of red bean, but slowly learn to appreciate it after being told by mom that this beans has lots of health benefits to the body. Red bean recipe is actually quite versatile. Other than the mundane tong shui. You could have it in the cake form, as in this kueh.

Black Glutinous Rice DessertIt is not easy nowadays to find such homey dessert in town, that is prepared the traditional way. This Black Glutinous Rice Dessert definitely requires certain duration of time to cook it till soft but not as in all got disintegrated. It should be boiled under slow flame till the husks soften up and best eaten with minimal amount of coconut milk. These few milky drops somehow improves the overall taste

it is located in shopping comples midvalley. We went there for lunch. We have tried mee siam and dried curry mee. The mee siam is served with curry chicken. The curry chicken is quite spicy. The mee siam is quite nice. The dried curry mee is not totally dried. It still have thick curry on it. The curry is rich in flavor. the store have quite many customer during that time, we have wait for quite long time.
