Good food, service lacking OK Jun 03, 2015

Categories : European | Restaurant

We decided to eat here because a friend said it served good food.

We sat down, and after ordering our starters and mains and a bottle of wine, my mother asked why they didn't serve us the complimentary bread that is usual in Italian restaurants.

I had to ask the staff, and then finally he brought over a basket of bread with 4 slices of bread.

Then my mother asked, where is the oil?

The first staff didn't even answer and walked off.

The second one, a girl, said We serve it separately!

So then my mom had to ask again and finally we were given a bottle of olive oil and vinaigrette, with no plate even to pour it in.

So we used our own serving plates

Wow, that was the hardest I've ever tried for some bread.

The food is okay, quite tasty. Prices very reasonable and portions large.

However midway through my meal, I noticed your staff had dropped a serviette (yeah no cloth Napkins here. Serviettes only)

None of the staff picked it up. It was on the floor in the middle of the restaurant. Different staff had passed it at least 8 times before someone decided to clear it, that also with her foot and she dragged it away.

It was weird.

We also were not offered any water at all.

Sigh.

Probably our last time here.

Great tea time and lunch Smile Jun 03, 2015

We decided to stop by Radhey's for a simple tea time snack while waiting for our car to be washed (there is a car wash just opposite the shop).

We ordered their Poori set, and I was blown away!

I had never had Poori before, and it was served hot from the kitchen. The set also comes with one vegetable of your choosing. I could have had all three poori myself, but I shared it with my boyfriend.

It's a great place, and comfortable (there's aircon). The staff are attentive and service is good.

For lunch, they have a set lunch promotion, where you can have a place of rice and as much vegetables you can pile on, for only RM 6.99. Value for money.

We also tried their a la carte dishes before, and it was great. Slightly pricey, but we had so much food we could take away some for another meal.
Fluffy, hot, and delicious

Great, affordable Kimbab Smile Jun 03, 2015

Categories : Korean | Restaurant | Seafood

I visited Korea last year, and fell in love with their Kimbab. They had lots of different fillings inside, and it made for a very simple, delicious and filling meal.

When I came back, the only place I ever had it was in Sunway, but that's really far away from where I live!

My Korean friend (who is a native of Desa Sri Hartamas) recommended the Kimbab here, so we tried it one day.

The food is very authentic, and very tasty. It also is very affordable, at RM10 for a basic kimbap, up to RM 15 for a meat filled kimbap.

They also have very simple meat dumplings which are tasty, and they also give you side dishes (which I didn't expect, but enjoyed). They also serve you a simple soup to go with your meal.
so good, we bought more to take home for supper!

Supplementary Information:
We bought the Bulgogi Kimbab to take away. It tastes EVEN BETTER. It has some cilantro inside with the beef, so it makes it taste different than the normal Kimbab.

Very yummy food. Portions are good for sharing. The bacon slices will become very smooth and easy to eat. If you like it crunchy, cook it for longer.

End the meal with rice! They will fry it in the kitchen, and it comes with kimchi sauce. Spicy, but very tasty. You can also wrap this with vegetables and eat it too

YOSHINOYA OMG!! Smile Jun 03, 2015

Categories : Japanese | Restaurant | Ramen/Udon/Soba

IT'S FINALLY HERE!

The sliced beef sensation that has taken over the world, and recently entered Malaysia!
I first had this in Hong Kong, and it blew me away. The menu is extensive in HK, but service time is very prompt.

In Malaysia, they are starting out with the beef rice, and you can choose from 2 sizes (although the size difference is almost negligible). The food is served hot, over a bed of Japanese rice (short grain, extremely yummy).

It's our go-to meal for lunch, snack, dinner and any time in between.

YOU MUST TRY IT
You won't want to leave a single grain of rice...
