It is a rarity to find steamed rice in pork lard in this modern day. It was used to be a popular common food in the household. Old generation likes to brag about how they grew up eating this rice. I jump into the chance to order it when I saw it in the menu. The steamed rice in pork lard however did not live up to my expectations. The rice was too hard and dry; I can barely taste any pork lard flavors in it. The soy sauce drizzled on the rice also did nothing much to elevate the expectations.

We ordered another dish which is the deep fried tofu. Overall, I think this dish is just mediocre. It was just cubed tofu being deep fried and served with a sauce. The tofu has a soft and white filling, with a crunchy crust. However, the tofu itself was tasteless and not seasoned. The serving sauce was also very normal. It was like a fish sauce with some chopped garlic in it. The sauce did not add credits to the tofu dish at all.

The ginger and wine omelette was something I have never tried or tasted. It never came across my mind to cook omelette in chinese wine. The omelette was pan fried and due to the chinese wine, the omelette was very moist. When I took a bite, the chinese wine was literally spilling out from the omelette. The fragrance of the chinese wine was also lingering in my mouth for a long time. The shredded ginger were also pan fried to release its aroma.

The asam chicken took a while to arrive to our table. I was highly anticipating this dish and it proves to be a good dish. Although the plate may be too small, since the sauce almost over flow the serving plate. The chicken in asam sauce tasted spicy and with the tamarind, there were also some sourness. Love the sauce because it was very appetizing and goes well with the rice. It was quite spicy as well. The chicken was a bit tough because there were mainly chicken breasts.

LameeYa is known for its Lam Mee, and their tastefully decorated interiors of their restaurant. I ordered their signature dish which is the Original Lam Mee. Luckily the prawns were fresh as they were juicy and succulent. The noodles are quite firm which is the way I like it. Their gravy is very thick and flavourful which matches their

The first thing I noticed about this Lam Mee is that it comes with 2 huge prawns. Luckily the prawns were fresh as they were juicy and succulent. The noodles are quite firm which is the way I like it. Their gravy is very thick and flavourful which matches their noodles. The dish also comes with some meatballs and which bouncy and complements the gravy too. For RM9.80, it is actually very worth it, considering it is in a shopping mall and given the ingredients too. I am definitely going to revisit this place when I come to Paradigm Mall.

Situated at Level 2 of the mall, this restaurant sell a number of variety Mee, appetizer and natural fruit juice. On that day, i am looking for something new to eat, and i notice shop selling Mee and it looks good on the menu, given that i have not try this shop before, i decided to go for it. I saw a dish, an egg with tofu. This dish, did grab my attention to try, imagine how an egg will taste when prepare together with tofu, i go for it and order without much hesitation.

The interior design is modernize, and seating is arrange properly so it is comfortable to seat and dine in this place. Since it is a quiet place, having a few chat here is not a problem as well. The attendant service is adequately good, i am being lead to my seat and order is taken. Call for their help is responded quite fast, i have no complain on their service attitude nor cleanliness.

Now, the food is served

Now the fried egg, is adequately prepared though there is a little taste of scorched.
(because of this i have to rate this food with a cry) And tofu, is warm when it is served, very smooth and good taste of the tofu. But the key enjoyment of this dish is to eat the egg together with the tofu plus some soy sauce, then it is okay. But i guess if the egg can be cold when it is served, it will make the dish even better.

Lammeeya is probably one of the cheapest food I can get at Paradigm Mall, although I have heard plenty of poor reviews about this shop. However, my experience here is a pleasant one, as I get a hot bowl of prawn noodles with chicken floss and am happy with the huge portion. The service is quite fast. Although I feel that the soup is quite bland and not so sweet with prawn flavours, I still love the tender chicken meat with smooth noodles.
