Lammeeya 淋面屋 is one of the Chinese restaurant in Paradigm mall. Located at level 2 and very easy to find. Ordered curry noodles or curry laksa, the curry broth was really thick and well satisfied my craving. I had hardly get a nice curry noodles soup in commercial restaurant inside the shopping mall. This is up to the standard and served quite fast. I love how they included cockles in a bowl of laksa. Authentic.

As I am rushing time for my movie in 20 minutes time, so I have ordered a plate of Chili & Sweet Sauce Chee Cheong Fun(RM6.80) and a cup of hot Organic Soya Milk (RM3.60). Surprisingly the chee cheong fun is really nice although is not their signature dish. The taste of the soya milk is different from normal one, may be due to it is organic type. Personally, I would prefer the normal soya milk. The staff here are friendly and they serve the food quite fast. Overall, I think very satisfy with the food and environment here although some will say the food is expensive.

Fried dumpling and fried foo chuk. I had a heavy tea break prior to the dinner, so I did not order the lam mee. I wanted to order boiled soup but it was all sold out, so I ordered the fried dumpling and fried foo chuk. The fried fuchuk was big but it tasted slightly weird to me and the texture too. The dumplings were fine and not too salty, it was crispy. Both the stuffs were quite oily.

Soya Bean. Although I like their teh tarik (and the cookies that comes with it), I ordered this soya bean that night. It came in a small cup, which is too little for the expensive price tag. The soya was not too thick but not too diluted either. It was not too sweet, a very natural soya taste. Although it was nice, I will not order it again due to the expensive price tag.

As the name of the restaurant suggests, Lam Mee is their signature dish. They have a few version of the lam mee for you to pick, but i just prefer to stick with the original lam mee especially i remember the last time i had a bowl of lam mee was years ago. The lam mee came with lots of ingredients inside. There were two fresh and succulent big prawns with shells. The lam mee soup is thick and starchy, the flavor was not good enough for me.

Char Siew Chicken Lam Udon. This is a twist to the traditional lam mee, it uses lam mee broth but with Japanese char siew and udon. It was topped with an egg and lettuce. The egg was a tad over-cooked as the yolk was not flowing. The char siew was tender but had a slight pork smell. The broth was thick but not too salty, slightly sweet in fact. The udon was springy. It was an interesting combination.

Mushrooms Lam mee. The lam mee was covered with different types of mushrooms. I spotted needle mushroom, Chinese black mushrooms and slices of abalone mushrooms (I think). It has some cabbages which was soft too. The lam mee broth was thick and sticky. It was however was too salty for me. If they could tone down the saltiness, I think it will be the best lam mee among all.

Teh Halia. The teh halia was served exactly the same way as Milo. It came with a piece of cookie too. The cookie was very fragrant and crispy powdery. The teh was strong with halia taste and it has a tint of halia spicy as well. The teh may not be too fragrant but it was acceptable as compared to mamak shops. It was not too too sweet. I have not much complain on this teh tarik.

Milo. Since it was still early morning and I don't feel like having icy drinks even though I am eating hot broth mee, I ordered Milo. It came with a piece of cookie. The milo was covered with lots of bubble on top. It was quite sweet I felt. The milo was not too thick but definitely not diluted either. I truly enjoyed the cookie that came with it, it was very crispy and chocolaty.

Duck egg char kuey teow. The char kuey teow was fried with bean sprouts, spring onions and most importantly duck egg. The bean sprouts were quite fat and juicy. Since it was quite early on that day, the wok may not be heated up yet, so the char kuey teow lack of "wok hei". It was slightly salty and quite spicy too. Good thing that it was not too oily. The egg coated the char kuey teow quite well.

Signature Lam mee. The lam mee has prawns, fish paste, chicken slices and cabbage together with some spring onions. I ordered the thin noodles. The lam mee gravy was so thick and sticky yet not too salty. The prawns were fresh. The cabbage was crispy. I love the gravy so much and I cant stop sipping it. The ingredients were a lot too. Although the price is higher than other lam mee, I would say this is quite delicious.

Looking through the beverage menu was exciting as it offers a variety of healthy mix fruits and vegetable juices. The ingredients in the drink will be clearly listed on the menu and the pictures were lovely. We order the Celery, grape and red apple combination juice. The juice was refreshing, freshly made and no sugar added. I appreciate that the juice has no residue from the fruits and vegetables.
