So many Korean restaurant getting more and more popular more or less thanks to influence of K-pop and all the Korean drama. Being so in love with Korean food, I remember Daore being one of those pioneers in Malaysia which manages to make it really big in a very short time. The last I had was about 2 years back, and in one of my recent gathering/ farewell for Minsan (well at least it was supposed to be..) we decided to have BBQ in Daore. The ambient and service was still amazingly welcoming, but the standard of the food has dropped terribly. Starting with seaweed soup for appetizers, I quite like the fact that it’s served. Trust me…. I’ve been to some which do not serve seaweed soup. Then, the sides and our pork BBQ came. The meat was amazingly succulent, well marinated and BBQ-ed just nice to the perfect texture. I still think that the minimum two sets per order for BBQ menu is crazy. So what if we didn’t have enough people? The ventilation is good and decent but chances is still quite high that you will end up smelling like BBQ. continue reading

one of the finest Korean restaurant in town! the price is not very cheap but reasonable. Services from the waiters are pretty good ! i love the rice cake and those opening dishes a lot! the KIMCHI SOUP is abit salty for me but overall are quite good! i'll pay another visit to try other food again! oh, if you are not expecting to spend more than RM40 per head in the restaurant, dont order the korean BBQ, cause it is a bit expensive and the portion is small, but, yeah, Korean bbq is never cheap..haha! continue reading

This rice cake was offered by the manager at here. Maybe because we went there with a bunch of friends and we ordered a lot. They were happy doing our business and we were happy eating their food. The rice cake here taste a little bit spicy and sweet. When you take the first bite, the first taste came into your mouth is sweet then follow by the spicy. If you can't take any spicy food, then my advice is prepare a hot tea beside of you. This dish is best to share with friends instead of eating it alone. The taste is nice but if you eat all, I think in the end you will hate it. continue reading
