Char Kuay Teow, also known as fried noodles, is a Malaysian favorite local dish and I'm happy to see that Cozy Restaurant serves it too! Theirs was a more modernized rendition of fried kuay teow but I'm not complaining either because it tasted quite good! Their noodles aren't as oily as normal ones from the hawker stall, of course. So the overall dish felt light and easy to eat ^^

Another vegetarian-based, super healthy favorite of mine from Cozy House The aroma of the fried rice was certainly fragrant. And they fry the rice just nice.. not too dry nor too soggy.. just perfect! An assortment of fresh garden veges including cabbages, sliced chillies, Siew Pak Choy, mushrooms and carrot slices were incorporated into the dish. Super healthy yet delicious

Another of my favorites at Cozy House Restaurant. What is unique about this Chicken is that it is double-fried. Meaning I think they spiced and marinated the chicken chunks and then deep fried it; before letting it cool and then glaze it with honey before covering the chicken chunks with curry and tamarind spiced powder and then stir-frying it again in a rich soy-spice gravy. Mmmm... perfection!

Yes, you guessed it right.. this is the Halal version (and luckily... much more inexpensive version) of the much-loved dish we normally have at Chinese Restaurants or simple Kopitiams at super exorbitant prices. Well, of course do expect that the prawns are much smaller in size but nevertheless still juicy and sweet. The noodles are fried to crunchy perfection too, before being drizzled with delicious egg sauce topped with the obligatory sliced ginger garnishing

If you're health conscious or just super love your veggies.. or probably want to cut down on meat, then do go for their Mix Vege Rice. Healthy yet super delicious too Steamed White Rice is drenched in a rich gravy encompassing super fresh healthy greens including mushrooms, cabbages, carrots, brocollis and Siew Pak Choy. Definitely one of my favorites on the menu

There are so many things that I love about Cozy House Restaurant; especially it's good food and of course it's beautifully nostalgic deco which for me resembles a fusion between the traditional Chinese Restaurant (with it's Red Lanterns and wood works) and the classy 1960-s post British-Malaya (especially in terms of the waitressing attire with their bow ties). The restaurant is super crowded most of the time..and I suspect not only because it's food is delicious; but because it's probably one of the few Halal Chinese restaurants around. Overtime it does serve up a fusion of Malay-Thai-Chinese cuisine, (incorporating stronger spices) but it's taste retains a strong Chinese flavor. Among my favorites here are all the Chicken, Claypot, Noodles and Fried Rice dishes...

After having tried their Thai fried rice and satisfied with it, i decided to bring my boy friend along to try out their dishes as well. We took notice of the Tomyam Prawn, and we have it with a white rice The Tomyam prawn is a huge portion, with a generously given prawn and tomato. Very spicy and flavorfuul of Thai spices, very good in waking our appetite. The rice is well cooked, not sticky thus good to have the rice together with the Tomyam soup

This restaurant, one of the few affordable restaurant in Great Eastern mall. Is one of the main choice for many office folks around the area, today i passby this area to have an appointment with one of my friend. After done with the meeting, i head to this restaurant to have a lunch before heading back This restaurant is crowded, with many office folks as expected, and the side of the restaurant offer a glass view to the tree's beside Great eastern mall, quite a nice view to have lunch actually.

This fried rice is very full of thai aroma smell, sour and hot. Frying the rice with egg bring an extra layer of egg taste to the fried rice. It is one of the best i ever had in KL area and it is affordable at RM8.90 only.
