While we were browsing the menu, I was drawn to an item, baby Xiao Long Bao with superior soup. Apparently these are only available on weekends with limited quantity being made. Also, in Empire, they were only available before 1pm. It was 12.50pm when we sat and ordered. Just in time too! The twelve pieces of baby Xiao Long Bao was very cute, small and decadent. The baby xiao long bao dough is much thinner compared to the usual sized ones. The filling of pork was juicy and delicious. It was slightly dry, but we were supposed to eat the baby xiao long bao together with the superior soup. The superior soup is quite nice, very flavourful. There were pieces julienned fried egg in it, which gives it a good flavour. There weren't much MSG taste either. Eaten with some ginger and vinegar, it was most superb!
