Amelio has a really nice looking environment and it gave me a really good impression at first... note: at first. We ordered a big salad and I think it's obvious that the restaurant's boss is a cheapskate. Given the name of "Avocado and mandarin orange salad", we expect more of them, but they just gave tiny amount of it. It's like less than half of an avocado and 2/3 of an orange. Pizza is very tiny and the bread was super thin. The amount of topping on this pizza just make me frown. Amelio is a decent restaurant that serves western food. Ordered lamb shoulder in sizzling pot. It came with creamy baked potato, grilled vegetables and their house mushroom sauce. The lamb shoulder meat is fat at one big portion, leaving another limited portion for me to eat. Still alright but they should choose their meat wise when purchasing. Choose the one with less fat. Overall is still fine.

Caffe Latte. The restaurant was newly opened in Setia Walk, so we decided to give it a try. Although the shop was air-conditioned, there were flies surrounding our table which made our dining experience not so good. The caffe latte was coffee mixed with milk. The coffee taste was there but it was not strong enough for a coffee-lover. The texture was smooth and just nice though.

Hot Honey Lemon Earl Grey Tea. That night it was a cold night, so we ordered a cup of hot honey lemon earl grey tea. As the name indicates, it consisted of lemon slices (a few thick slices!), honey and tea. The lemon gave the drink a very tangy sour taste. The honey just helped to add some sweetness in it. The tea taste was strong too. Overall, it was a concentrated drink.

Mashed Potato. A scoop of mashed potato was topped with some brown sauce. The brown sauce was thick and I wish they could give more brown sauce because the mashed potato was slightly bland if eaten by itself. The mashed potato was a rough version and I could bite a few chunks of potato in it. The brown sauce was the one who gave a slightly saltier taste. I actually like the rough texture of it.

De Angelo Hawaiian Special. I wanted to order some other pizza variety but since this De Angelo Hawaiian Special is their signature, I ordered it. The pizza came with roast pork bacon and pineapples and I add on button mushrooms for extra RM5. The crust was thin but it was not extremely crispy. The pizza tasted like normal Hawaiian pizza, just that it uses pork bacon. The saltiness was just nice.

Creamy mushroom pork shoulder loin steak. This is a premium grilled pork shoulder loin with fresh mushrooms cream sauce served with idaho gold french fries with side salad. It mentioned Idaho fries but it tasted normal fries to me. The pork shoulder was not too dry, and the mushroom sauce was thick and creamy too. Overall, this was a good pork shoulder loin steak.

Fresh Lime Cooler Juice. My dining partner is a fan of sour drink especially the ones made from lemon and lime. He of course ordered this fresh lime cooler juice once he saw it from the menu. We ordered a large one for sharing. Once I took the first sip, the drink was extremely sour, lime-sour. I was not joking when my dining partner said that too. The drink was thick but it was just too sour for our liking.

Sizzling Lamb Shoulder. The sizzling lamb shoulder was the first dish to be served. It was a lamb shoulder loin, with fresh button mushrooms, grilled vegetables in marinara sauce served with creamy jacket potato on sizzling plate. The lamb shoulder was not quite good though as almost half of it was filled with fats, which means it was quite oily and less meat. The mushroom sauce was fine.

Deluxe pork melazane. This dish took quite a while to be served. This is crumbed crispy pork shoulder loin with molten 3 cheese, aubergine, and marinara sauce with salad. The breaded coating was crispy and coated the pork nicely. The pork loin was soft. It would be very dry if just eat the pork loin by itself. It definitely has to topped with the marinara sauce to add some flavour to it.
