Hui Lau Shan (Closed)

Obviously, Hui Lau Shan is undoubtedly one of the best Hongkie dessert house around, at least in my opinion. My other favorite would be Tong Pak Fu. Hui Lau Shan at Cheras Leisure Mall is built cafe-style.. which means less noisy, more comfy and a even more choices on the menu. Yaay for that ! My favorite without a doubt ... everything Mango on the menu. As in, I try a different thing every time I visit a different Hui Lau Shan outlet. Love their ice-cream especially. seriously authentically man

OK, this particular dessert really took me by surprise.. like seriously. Meaning.. I did not expect the sweet birds' nest soup to be contained inside the heart of one half of a papaya. And a papaya that's sweet and fresh and delicious too. That's a real surprise! So I guess that it means you can actually scoop out the papaya flesh and eat it together with your spoonful of bird's nest soup

If you fancy something that do not really "float around" as most of Hui Lau Shan's mango desserts are bound to be; than have a go at this one. It's more "solid" in the sense that that it's less "liquid". Basically, a delicious big scoop of Mango Pudding is smacked right in the center of an elongated love-shaped bowl; and accompanied by a scoop of equally delicious mango ice-cream, a huge chunk of mango flesh and lots of other healthy fruits yummy!

I'm surprised they actually have Curry-based dishes, and even more surprised that they have Chicken Wings with Rice.. Haa haa Doesn't really seemed to jive in well with their desserts-based concept. But I guess they really needed to have some fulfilling hot main meals to drive in more crowd This chicken wings rice is just so-so for me.. There are definitely better ones out there,lar...:-)

Hui Lau Shan's Mango Icy Coconut Noodle is actually just a slightly different variation from it's signature product the Mango Icy Sweetie Ball. I much prefer the latter, though of course I can assure it tastes just as delicious; especially if you're a huge coconut fan. The "coconut noodles" are not exactly noodles per say; they're just coconut shredded into noodle form. I much preferred the Mango ice cream in the center as well as the freshly choppped mangoes accompanying this dessert

这个的椰奶味不是很重香香的椰奶味真的不错，这个杨枝甘露的份量不多可是味道可不差吃起来来很清凉的感觉。除了这些之外，里面还有那甜滑的芒果方粒所以吃起来一点都不单调

这个多芒西米捞充满了很香的芒果味而且很新鲜，吃起来还有那甜棉棉的感觉非常不错。它把芒果写成一粒粒方块所以吃起来的口感特别的好，可是份量方面就是少了些真的不够吃。

虽然说许留山是芒果甜品专卖店，但是还是有别的甜品，如这款原只木瓜雪蛤膏，我一直觉得他的芒果甜品分量都太小不够吃，但这个原只木瓜雪蛤膏是把整整半个木瓜把中间的种子挖出来再倒入雪蛤膏，木瓜的味道很甜，配上有椰浆的雪蛤膏味道蛮好的。这道甜品出了好吃外还有养颜的功效真是一举两得。

这款芒果小丸子其实是汤圆小丸子配上芒果肉和芒果酱，我喜欢他们这里的芒果都很香甜，而且会有让人想一直吃的欲望，小丸子有点硬不够Q但是果肉和酱就蛮不错，芒果酱不会太甜，甜味大多都是来自果肉，只是分量很小，可能他们是想让人有吃过返寻味的感觉。

许留山是一间专卖芒果甜品的连锁店，对于喜欢吃芒果的朋友不妨可以来试试，这款芒果糯米糍虽然看下去很单调只有几片芒果和一粒糯米糍，但糯米糍吃起来很香滑黏口而且中间还有一颗切丁的芒果粒，味道蛮不错的只是分量太少了好不过瘾

如果想吃香甜的芒果,也许许留山芒果糯米糍是不错的选择.该如何的说呢? 它的馅料是真材实料的,还有那表面的椰丝搭配就感觉不错, 口感柔美,尤其它的外皮就是够柔软,有够清新.

Quite a lot of combination with mango series, new try All of their dessert are served with mango, which I don't think they provide us fresh mango, but bitter mango instead. My friend said their dessert nice but somehow I don't think so. Perhaps it is because of they are just new opening, so that all of the thing has not being arrange and handle well, I will try it again.

Hui Lau Shan is pretty famous dessert shop in Hong Kong and is currently my favourite place to hang out for desserts. Over ninety percent of their dessert consist of mangoes or you can say this dessert shop specializes in selling mango desserts. The picture above is the mango and pomelo dessert. There were quite a number of mango cubes in the dessert and the mangoes were a little overripe so it had a sourish aftertaste which goes well with the bitter sweetness of the pomelo.

for me mango as a dessert is the best food . especially Hui Lau Shan , as i know this dessert shop very famous in hong kong. so they had bring this to malaysia not long. the mango are fresh and sweet, i like the 杨枝金露 very much. almost every weekend i will go enjoy my dessert at leisure mall here. the price is reasonable and they got many choices of tong shui in hui lau shan . i will rate them 10/10.
