lastly, was the dessert. the owner, Roy served us Ice-Cream Pancakes. the pancakes here were actually traditional chinese pancakes, served mostly during the chinese new year. this one is particularly crispy and warm as it was fried and layered together with a pandan/kaya-like filling in between. the ice cream served were chocolate and mint respectively, sprinkled with bits of peanuts. you'd have to eat the ice cream with the pancake together to get this hot-cold mixture which combines pleasantly

Fried Kuay Teow, Ipoh style. most commented that this dish was too oily and the kuay teow somehow were abit different from the normal ones. i don't know about myself but alot of people started comparing this with Penang style char kuay teow haha. i think they fried this dish in a different style and opted for a Nyonya approach instead. so i guess this dish is just so-so for me lah haha.

when they said they were going to serve Salted Egg flavor Chicken, i was so excited lol because yay salty food! and i love salted egg. yum. the crisp salty skin and moist chicken flesh were a great combination. i might be a little biased with this but i love crispy crunchy chicken skin! if only they used pure chicken fillet though, because i'd hate to eat a piece and realize they were bones/ribs in it.

i really loved this dish! Chinese Spinach cooked with century eggs. unlike the clear soupy one i had in Klang, this one has a more thicker base sauce, mixed with eggs. i liked the texture of the superior broth (上汤菠菜) because it gives a depth of chewiness in it. super like! this one doesn't have salted fish though. its too bad, salted fish and fried garlic would add so much flavorness to it!

Soya Prawns! served with Lady Fingers vege, the prawns were caught fresh from Indonesia seas and were cooked with dark soya sauce to give a thick marinated gravy-like texture. i liked that they peeled the shells off for us LOL. but the prawns for me tasted kinda.. sandy or grainy. i dont know how to explain it, but it didnt give me the fresh prawns feel. their sauce is awesome tho. can never resist soya based sauce!

1919 Homemade Tofu, filled with mixed vegetables inside. the top part was sliced cleanly so you can open it like a big bucket of food hahaha wtf. the tofu is soft and smooth, although its on the bland side for me. i like the crust though. if only it was a little more flavorful on the salty side. or maybe i am more used to having tofu with a thicker soya sauce taste.. all in all, still a very decent and clean dish.

The salted fried chicken, is crunchy. The flour that is used is good, evidently true as we chewing on the fried chicken the aroma smell and taste of the chicken is being bring out and it is crunchy. Plus when it is marinated with salted egg, the tasting of the fried chicken became less "boring" where it is not only crunchy but with a good balance of salt and egg taste in this dish, very well done, must try dish.

The cup, is made out of stone and that looks special to me. Probably having tea with a stone cup can increase the aroma tasting of the tea

this is my birthday celebration with my girl. the enviroment is good and class. even though we had just order some normal dish , but the taste is nice. at least we enjoyed with the enviroment and the service. the food here is ok. and parking is easy to get. i like the soup so much , taste like my mom home cook soup. i will recommend to my beloved friends to dine in or organise some event or birthday party over here.
