On a lazy weekend brunch, I came by Paradigm mall for a simple brunch. I passed by this kopitiam at the lower ground floor of Paradigm Mall, opposite Caring Pharmacy. This kopitiam has the similar style like other kopitiam chains (Paparich, Old Town, etc) where I was required to fill in the order chit based on the dish code stated in the menu.
The first to arrive was the mutton curry rice. It was served on the old style plates and bowls. The mutton curry was very aromatic and has a strong smell of mutton when it arrived. It was quite delicious as it is mixed with the white rice given. The curry was not too spicy, just right for me. The curry was also very rich, making it ideal to be served with rice.
Next was the half boiled eggs. It was slightly overcooked in my opinion, but better overcooked that undercooked in this case. Regardless, by just stirring it around with the spoon, the yolk will eventually mix with the egg white. Adding some soy sauce and pepper makes it delicious, completing a perfect breakfast.All in all, it is yet another kopitiam, but with a slightly higher standard in taste. I will visit again in the future to try their coffee and toast.
