Tried out this nasi lemak specialized stall today was totally disappointed. Ordered nasi lemak biasa with added "sambal kerang". I haven't eaten such a lousy sambal kerang in my life up to now. The kerang were so minuscule that they are most probably newly born kerang. Worst of all was the undescribable taste. And adding insult to injury, it cost RM10 for the plate of rice, boiled egg, kacang, ikan bilis, sambal, a small portion of sambal kerang, something so ordinary which can be bought at many stalls around Klang Valley for less than RM5, if with a decent sambal kerang (not just kerang plus sambal sauce and nothing else) then can go up to RM6/RM7. They even charged GST at a stall within a food court. Do they rake in RM500,000 in sales annually for just a single stall?
