Limapulo. Sounds familiar, yes? If I’m not mistaken, it was run by the same owner (or maybe he left) of Limablas at Jalan Mesui. They are all serving local and authentic Malacca nyonya food. As far as I know, the restaurant is opened for both lunch and dinner. For lunch, they offer lunch set (which doesn’t include drinks) at a price of RM 9.90. Quite a number of choices from Ayam Pong Teh, Asam Fish Rice, Tamarind Chicken, Mee Siam and many more.
I had the Ayam Pong Teh set which comes with vege, eggs, chicken and the mushroom. Taste wise its good, but would be better if its more flavorful. Perhaps this is more to a home cooked kind of taste, some may find it a bit bland.
I ordered the watermelon juice as well but I was disappointed as it wasn’t pure juices. I can taste the added sugar in it.Nevertheless, it wasn’t too bad a lunch either. It costs me about RM 16 per person.
