Heavy breakfast won satisfaction but guiltiness.Nasi lemak is one of the famous breakfast among Malaysian.In the past, nasi lemak only sells during morning. But now, everyone can eat nasi lemak anytime and everywhere in Malaysia!I've found this mamak stall selling nasi lemak behind Menara Atlan.RM 2.50 for one nasi lemak with eggs.Their fried anchovies are crispy and the taste of sambal here is yummy!One thing about their environment is that, you will get to sweat if you eat there. Hot.Thus the decision of taking away my nasi lemak and eating in an air cond area.Will definitely go back to take away again. 繼續閱讀

I don't really like to eat under hot environment. One of the main reason is I sweat easily. When I sweat, my whole shirt will get wet and the sweat just keep dripping. But for this rice, I really need to bare with all these negative environment. Walked long way, stay under hot sun, pray for shading seats, long queue. After all these only get to enjoy my lunch. The bitter gout is quite thick. It is close to bitter, but not that bitter. Their sambal here is very spicy. Under the hot sun with this burning sambal. It is worth after all. 繼續閱讀

I love really good Malay food. For this, I have to walk 15 minutes from my office to queue up with large crowd, and squeeze in to find a seat in the heat.Worth it.The ikan bakar is generally fresh, and I like how they would reserve the piece you select while you go pick out everything else and come back later for your fish. The air asam for the fish is strong and thick - and you can always take more if you need. Malays are not known to sting on condiments. The fish (I usually pick ray fish) is also tender and flaky and really filing.I really love my rice (half serving, please!) with a whole terung gulai (along with lots of gulai gravy) - it's not consistent, though. Sometimes I get a really nice softened piece, and other times I get a piece that's firm (not cooked properly).If I can't resist, I would succumb to the temptation of the bergedil (potato patty). Absolutely lovely - dense, mildly aromatic (I wish it were more so), and chunky. Really worth that extra buck. 繼續閱讀
