Cendol. Since it was Nyonya resetaurant, we ordered the cendol for trying. Little Heritage's version came with cendol and kidney bean. The kidney bean was big and it added further sweetness to the cendol. The cendol was smooth and soft. The portion was slightly small though. It has the right amount of ice. Little Heritage House calls itself a "Straits Chinese kitchen," serving traditional Nyonya favorites in a setting that seethes with culture-rich heirlooms from simpler times.The menu's short & sweet, with items available a la carte or in wallet-friendly sets. A large serving of sambal petai with omelet costs RM38+, but it's as tasty as expected, thanks to the pleasurably fresh stinky beans, flavor-packed chili sauce & perfectly fluffy egg.Deep-fried saffron-marinated black pomfret (RM36+), commendable for its moist firmness.Nasi ulam Nyonya (RM22+), a welcome alternative to steamed plain rice.Salted veggie duck soup (RM6+), acceptable but not admirable. Malaccans do this best!Sago Gula Melaka (RM6+), a crowd-pleasing choice, abundant with pearls.Our highest recommendation, however, goes to the excellent bubur pulut hitam (RM6+), sumptuous with black glutinous rice & mata kucing fruits.
