After buying some grocery in Giant, I went for a quick lunch at the Kluang Station... Kluang station is actually a kopitiam inside Kluang’s railway station. It is being commercialize and further expanded by the original Lim family’s great grandson Mr. JJ Phun. All their coffee beans are hand roasted. They still maintain the original food and drinks such as half boil eggs, hainanese coffee and toast bread which sold since 1938. The first modernized Kluang Station were opened in One Utama Shopping Centre, Petaling Jaya.It’s located on the Lower Ground Floor at the Oval court, 1 Utama new wing (opposite Bread Story). Kluang Station is a nice typical Kopitiam concept place in 1 Utama. They serve several types of food including their famous Nasi Lemak, Roti Bakar, and other types of food one finds in Smalltown Malaysia. The toast was good, crispy on the outside but soft on the inside... It costs for RM1.50 only. Hainanese Chicken Chop (RM10.90), Special Fried Chicken (RM4.50), Nasi Ayam Masak Merah (RM7.90), Pineapple Drink (RM3.50), Kluang Mee Siam (RM4.90), Nasi Lemak (RM 3.90), Iced Coffee (RM 2.80 each)Mee Siam (RM6.90)All the food and drinks sold in Kluang Station is quiet good with a reasonably price...The Hainanese Chicken Chop is quiet delicious... It's perfect if adding a Cham Iced with the Hainanese Chicken Chop... The freshly fried chicken chop was deliciously crispy on the outside. A thick piece of juicy chicken thigh was revealed beneath all that crispiness... The sweetish tomato sauce with garden peas and baked beans was perfect with the already scrumptious chicken... I enjoyed mopping the sauce with the crinkle-cut fries that came with the dish.They also sell the delicious nasi lemak and only cost RM3.90... It's quiet cheaper when you go for lunch in One Utama Shopping Centre... Rif’s nasi lemak was alright. Fragrant coconut milk infused rice with spicy sambal and crunchy ikan bilis, I kept thinking we should have got some chicken rendang to go with…hehe... If having a chicken rendang eating along the nasi lemak, it will be a very good experience there...For the drinks, I prefer like the Cham Iced. It costs Rm2.80... It's the best partner for the Hainanese Chicken Chop (my own opinion )... The "kao" coffee is also a good choice of drinks during the tea time... The “kao” coffee concluded our satisfying tea break.. I like dining here as the food is quite good (at least for now) and reasonably priced. It's the one of the better kopitiams around. High tea with wife after walking few hours in one utama. Went to kluang station and order some drinks and small snack. I ordered coffee and my wife ordered barley and 1 toast with kaya butter to share. Food and drinks also nice and we like it. And it's not crowded.Decoration also nice. Got old railway station feel.It's a nice place to re-energize and continue shopping.

kluang station is serving the local food just like the old town here and also the pappa rich and nice to see here they have the local food of the nasi lemak and i spot this menu in their place which is the popiah. i like popiah so i try it was not too oily and very very crispy i love this meal so much. good place to gathering here or just have the light snacks here too with nice service

Ice coffee. Kluang Station has always been our favourite kopitiam among the other kopitiam chains as we found the food in Kluang station are much nicer especially the Hainanese chicken chop. The coffee ice was thick and full of coffee taste. It was quite bitter with strong milk taste too. The drink was not too sweet. Overall, it was quite a good drink and much better than other coffee.

Kluang Kopitiam ialah lagi satu cafe berkonsepkan kopitiam yang banyak terdapat di pasaraya-pasaraya terkemuka di Malaysia. Memiliki suasana yang santai dan selesa pastinya menggamit kunjungan pelanggan bagi melepaskan lelah selepas seharian membeli belah. Menu yang ditawarkan lebih kurang sama dengan kopitiam-kopitiam lain seperti roti bakar, telur separuh masak dan pilihan kopi dan teh seperti teh tarik dan kopi putih,. Harga lebih murah dan lebih berpatutan, pastinya memberi satu pengalaman berbeza buat mereka yang pertama kali makan disini.
