After tried out different type of cuisine in kl, here finally comes to german food. I decided to have a try in this restaurant because it is having a promotion. As for the appetizer, i ordered a goulasch soup and a soup of the day which is dal. Here hows it looks likeErm, it tastes quite special actually. A little bit spicy. Then here comes our main dishes, german pork knuckle! The portion is just nice enough for two people. The crunchy skin of the pork knuckle and the juicy and tender meat of the pork is a perfect combination. Then they have mash potato as side dishes. Overall it is okay. I will make my second visit and have a try on thueringer bratwurst ;)The environment of the restaurant looks like this

House of Frankfurt at Jalan Telawi 5 has been known for serving some of the best German authentic cuisine in town. It has been around for more than a decade now, and is still thriving because of it's good food and warm hospitality. Be forewarned though that prices are high as all their meats are fully imported But if you're up for a good glass of wine and good German food, what the heck ? Wouldn't hurt your wallet once in a while.. or even during special occasions. Deco and ambience-wise it's quite simple and comfy. But the food's heavenly! Must have is of course their signature Pork Knuckles with the most delicious sauce I ever tasted Came with freshly done boiled veges too. have it with a glass of red/white wine

Underrated & often overlooked amid the throng of Telawi's flashier eateries, House Frankfurt specializes in satisfyingly unpretentious German fare. Berlin-style pan-fried beef liver with onions & mashed potatoes. A whopping serving that should be shared, especially if the gamy taste of liver isn't a turn-on for you. Chianti Claccico. Jaegermeister & Williams.
