After reading Boo's post on Delicious' current cupcake promo, we scrambled to Marc Residence to taste these sweet treats inspired by New York City's Magnolia Bakery. Red Velvet with cream cheese & raspberry swirl, in front of the Crazy Carrot with cream cheese. These confections have the look of Magnolia's signature creations almost perfectly right, offering a nice visual change from the usual choices at Bisou, Cupcake Chic and Cuppacakes. After Eight Chocolate with mint frosting & Classic Vanilla with strawberry frosting. Each of the cupcakes is hefty, justifying the RM6.90 price tag. Chunky Apple with butterscotch frosting & Bananarama with white choc frosting. Not sure whether we love them; the cupcakes are dense but most of them could be more moist, while some of the toppings are too artificial-tasting. Devil Dare with 7-minute icing & another Red Velvet. A side order of onion rings for some savoriness to counter all that sugar.

I find the red velvet cake at this cafe just average as it was a bit too sweet for my taste. The cheese filling was a little dry and could do with more moist texture. The red velvet filling was just sparingly distributed and I prefer more of that as it has a really nice flavour. The size of the cupcake is not too big and is good for a light snack.Delicious has quite a good range of desserts in their high tea and is worth a try.

Finally, to end each meal, in particular dinner meal, we will complete with a dessert. Indulged a craving for chocolate after having such a satisfying meal.Hence, we decided to order a Chocolate brownie, cost RM13.90 before tax that served with chocolate sauce with vanilla ice cream. Love the melted thick chocolate sauce on the ice-cream along with the chocolate brownie which made everyone of us speechless and in total silence to enjoy every single bite of it.

Delicious has a good reputation for their food, beverage and service. I like their drinks, watermelon with lychee especially and I have no complain over Delicious until I tasted their pavlova one day.Berrilicious Chocolate Pavlova.The chocolate pavlova looked pretty, with bright colours strawberries sitting on top. However it tasted so horrible. Instead of being soft, it was as hard as rock. The inside is like a failed and over-baked cake. If you baked a failed cake before, you could imagine how it was like. Eating this definitely made me felt so upset.
