What could be the better candidate to chill out your body on a sultry day?For us, a few sips of the tea and smooth icy dessert from Meet the Fresh would carry out the task pretty efficiently Honey Bean with Brown Sugar Cake Bean Curd entices me more with its silky bean curd. Soya aroma is soothingly pampering, with sweet red beans. Oh by the way, look! I found another cheese delights, Iced Blended Cream Cheese! Yea, it might be bit mind boggling, but who cares, once awhile to try out something new? That would just enrich your life in a much more amusing way! (=The Taro Dessert Bowl is a joy to have too! The staff is so nice that he actually gives me some extra helping on the taros Anyhow, there are still other choices for you to choose from, be it cold or hot version. And the Melon Drink is actually quite rejuvenating, same goes with the Black Tea too.  繼續閱讀

It has been a while since my last dessert review. Taiwanese desserts have been really popular lately, not exactly my favourite, but I will never turn down a nice bowl of sweet iced dessert. Last weekend, I had the opportunity to catch a high tea session over at Meet Fresh Taiwanese Dessert Pavilion KL with some of their VIPs and founders. The Taro Balls Desserts 4 came looking real pretty with four different flavours. We had these taro balls which were soft, and chewy, just the way I like. It was a tad bit unfortunate that the sweetness level was too low, which may be healthy, but I love my desserts sweet! To quench our thirst while we were sitting through the press conference where Malaysia Meet Fresh director, Mr Danny Lim gave his speech, we were treated to their Winter Melon Tea with Mini Taro Balls. I like this drink, as it was refreshing, with enough sweetness to keep me drinking until I got to those small taro balls. I do recommend this drink for those looking for a refreshing drink. Served next was Meet Fresh's signature Herbal Jelly or better known as "guai lin gao". To fully enjoy this dessert, we were given a small cup of fresh cold milk, which I poured happily all over the herbal jelly. Again, it would have been much better had there been more sugar in this dessert. I would think most Malaysians love their desserts sweet, and serving a "healthy" less sugar dessert just doesn't quite hit the taste buds. 繼續閱讀

Though Meet Fresh at Pavilion KL is located at a pretty high floor(6th floor at the very top) and it's location is awkwardly position right in the middle between the 2 ends of the mall (which has more traffic flow because of the escalators).. nevertheless fans of delicious Taiwanese desserts will definitely find a way to get this kiosk. With a few table seatings, service's quick and breezy. I love their desserts; especially the Taro Ball series. Make sure you get one with the Sweet Potato + Barley + Grass Jelly in it. Yums. totally heavenly! Their shaved ice series' super nice as well 繼續閱讀
