This is one of the famous type of desert that normally served during chinese dinner as for this i do not expect it to be serve at a five star hotel restaurant.The most important of this dish is on the inner part of the pancake. There is two different flavor lotus paste and red bean. For this pancake to be delicious the paste must be good. The paste must not be too sweet if not the pancake will not be nice.If i were to rate this dish i would give 8/10

This is braised fish maw with tau fu, the braised sauce is sticky. The fish maw took a lot of time to braised until soft, it taste very good when you eat it, the sauce taste is mixed together with the dish. The tau fu have no taste originally, but it is fried, and braised together with the fish maw, put some of the sauce when you eat, the taste is not bad too. There are some vegetable that braised together, but the vegetable is old and overlooked, taste so so. Overall taste is good.

This is a five star Chinese restaurant in town, it serve very good Chinese cuisine. This is green tea deep fried prawn, the prawn is without shells, very easy to eat. The staff will help you to portion the dish, and it served in individual plate for you. The prawn is very tasty, prawn is crispy after deep fried, and it mix with some sauce, taste like mayonnaise with green tea flavored, unique! The plate of prawn also serve together with broccoli, it is very fresh and crunchy.

It actually is some kind of normal dishes that you can find at any restaurant, but just that when you order at a five class hotel restaurant the class of the dish changes even the price of the dish also increased not only double but triple.this dish actually felt tasteless as all the ingredient does not really very strong taste that is why the whole dish taste so clear almost to tasteless.if i were to rate this dish i would probably give 8/10 - the point were given based on the healthiness

this dish actually felt tasteless as all the ingredient does not really very strong taste that is why the whole dish taste so clear almost to tasteless.

if i were to rate this dish i would probably give 8/10 - the point were given based on the healthiness

Still remember the peking duck dish that i wrote about the review before - where we only tasted the skin of the duck but not the meat at all - have any idea where it goes?This is the last few dishes now only we realize where the duck meat go - cooked with the fried noodles and mushroom.This dish does not up to my expectation at all as it is too salty - too much msg i think.beside that it is the last few dish - my stomach were so full with other foodsif i were to rate this i would give 8/10

The best and the most expensive red bean soup that i have in my life time, i never realize that a five class hotel restaurant would use the most simple red bean soup as their desert in their dinner set.From the photo you can clearly see that they use one of the finest red bean with gingko- which normally would not be use to cook this dish.this desert were fine as it is not too sweet, just nice...if i were to rate this i would give 9/10

這間餐廳位於市中心,屬於高價位,餐廳的裝修很古色古香,充滿中國風。这个蒜粒蒸鱈魚,鱈魚蒸的火候抓的刚刚好,鱼肉也非常鲜嫩,蒸得时候,放了很多蒜米粒一起蒸。吃下去的時候,魚肉入口即化,也没有鱼腥味,真的非常好吃。

at first when this soup is served to us i thought that it is a shark fin soup, because normally shark fin soup will normally included in a chinese cuisine menu.but not to i know it is actually a sea food soup with crab meat and chickenthis soup must be taken once it is served - while it is hot, if not the longer you take to finish it you will feel like the soup does not really taste that good as it will become more wateryif i were to rate this i will give 6/10

This is the first dish that were serve during our visit to shang palace at shangri la hotel.At first i thought that we will be going to have the whole duck as a dish, but not to i know we were only served the skin of the peking duck.The Peking duck were cut in thin pieces and served in a wrap with fresh greens, my high expectations were met.The duck was as perfectly cooked as it looked, straddling the thin line between dry and underdone. The Peking duck were cut in thin pieces and served in a wrap with fresh greens, my high expectations were met.

The duck was as perfectly cooked as it looked, straddling the thin line between dry and underdone. The crispness of the skin matched the crunch of the veggies, and the savory juices were consistent from the skin down through the cut of duck meat

if i were to rate this i would give 9/10

Hmmm.... the decoration of the food speak itself, have you ever thought of decorating prawn with broccoli will look like a flower.The chef were really very thoughtful, since were are having dinner at a five class hotel definitely will wont want to peel the prawn skin with our hands. he had choosed to to deep fried the prawn where we can just take it without having our hand dirty.Besides that the green tea mayonnaise were just nice4if i were to rate this i will give 8/10

Have you ever imagine that you can try this type of lamb chop in a Chinese five star hotel.This was included in the package that we order, the lamb that i posted is just an individual portion which is perfectly for one person to consume, the Mongolian sauce were not too strong where it does not cover the taste of the lamb .Besides that it also come along with some vegetables, - can be consider as side dishesif i were to rate this i will give 8/10

We had ordered a package (ten pax) which include of this steamed cod fish with minced garlic and golden garlic, the fish cod is not too thick which is perfectly cooked and the minced garlic were just match with the fish.

這個蟹肉羹很美味,裡面放了很多了下去熬煮的,很有海鮮的自然腥味,可是很好喝。呈上時,是一人一碗,還是熱騰騰的。裡面有很多螃蟹肉,干貝絲,魚肉,筍絲等等。贊!服務員也很友善,服務到位。再來一杯熱的普洱茶,幫助消化,也解渴。

這個煎羊排,肉質鮮美,不會有難以入口的羊騷味,很好吃。羊肉用了很多香辛料醃製,還加上各種調味料入味,再下鍋煎。肉里的腥味都去除了,醬汁調的很是匹配,而且肉質軟嫩很易入口。絆碟的還有新鮮的燈籠椒,青菜等等。這道煎羊排讓人欲罷不能。
