it was a heaty day and i was visitng a friend in the citta mall place to have the nice place for desserts and they have it here in this area the branch of the tong pak fu. just nice to hang out here with my friend and we able to get the seats. the chocolate ice snowy is the best choices for their nice blended ice snow and the thick chocolate taste which is so rich and tasty here

At Tong Pak Fu, besides sweet dessert, they do offer a limited choices of snacks and light food. One of them is this curry chee cheong fun. The chee cheong fun was indeed a real surprise. I couldn't believe the curry sauce was so good. The curry sauce was very flavorful, spicy but non creamy or heavy on coconut milk. The curry was more on the lighter curry but it tasted lots of spices and not thick. The chee cheong fun was slightly too thick but still acceptable. On top of the chee cheong fun were some dried shrimps, fried garlic and white sesame.

Set in the eco-friendly, Setia City mall, is the ever popular Tong Pak Fu. By now, Tong Pak Fu should be a quite well-known to foodies especially those who loves cold desserts. Many times I have tried their signature dessert, one of it being the pink guava snow ice. I also adore their grass jelly with manga and pomelo dessert as well as their chee cheong fun snack. This time, we ordered the pink guava snow ice again (in case the new flavour sucks) and the black sesame snow ice.The pink guava as usual did not fail us, the faint sweet smell of pink guava was very nice. The taste again, it's consistently sweet, coupling with those pop eggs which spills delightful sweet juices to compliment the pink guava. There were also some bland tasting jelly just to neutralize the sweetness of the whole thing.On the other hand, the black sesame is not sweet. It taste like, well, black sesame. just cold. It has a faint taste of charcoal on the first note and the more oriental taste of black sesame after that. The sourness of the strawberry is a nice blend-in to make the dessert less heavy. The pop eggs and grass jelly also acts the same as the strawberry only the taste is more to sweet than sour.Service wise, they are ok but I have had worse in other outlets. This is pretty good.
