Well, as Chinese, we always believe our body is getting heaty. So we need something to cool our body internally. I saw this new shop in Aman Suria, the name sounds familiar, I think it’s from Hong Kong. Hoi Tin Tong sells herbal jelly and herbal soup and drinks. I went ahead to buy the Herbal Jelly with Pearl. When it says pearl, it’s the pearl powder that they add in. The herbal jelly is in black color. The jelly is quite bouncy and has some sugar added inside. The jelly tasted slightly bitter sweet, but we believe this is good. The sales lady said this jelly is to help de-tox and purifies body. Well, the herbal jelly was taken out from the refrigerator, so it’s definitely cooling. I also tasted a hint of powder smell, I believe that’s the taste from the pearl powder.
