I usually wake up late during weekend, hence I will skip my breakfast and go straight to lunch. My brunch is usually a simple meal in Hong Kee, for the place is very near to where I am staying. I do like har gau, siu mai, loh mai kai and char siew bao. But when I am alone, I can't afford to eat so much, so I will usually get a plate of fried carrot cake and a pot of Chinese tea.Fried Carrot CakeTheir carrot cake is stirred fried wtith bean sprout, egg, preserved vegetables and chives. Not the best fried carrot cake I have tasted, as it is lack of wok hei, but the quaity is sufficient enough to fill my hungry tummy.
