If you're a soupy person like me, you ought to give Esquire Kitchen's Lotus Soup a try. The lotus roots are pretty fresh and always tasted good and crunchy. I believed they infused the lotus root together with chicken meat and bones for a pretty long time; because the chicken taste does permeate strongly into the lotus roots. It's definitely a tasty, non-oily healthy soup to complement your meal

Yong Chow Fried Rice from Esquire Kitchen. The fried rice was served pipping hot and it was really fragrant. Although it's only a simple fried rice, but it tasted good. The fried rice got the "wok hei", i presumed the wok in the kitchen must be very hot and firely. The usual ingredients in it were the eggs, chicken pieces, shrimps, garlic and scallions. Well seasoned, but i can't live without my chili padi. The fried rice was not exactly very dry, in fact it was slightly moist.
