The restaurant is a rather rundown place, with a barely there signage. It is located in a small road, off from the main road. Inside the restaurant, the place is interestingly decorated with lots of umbrellas covering the ceiling and empty hard liquor bottles sitting on shelves by the walls. There is no menu, and one orders through recommendation by the staff.
The seafood is steamed and served in a double boiler pot, with the juice flowing to the bottom pot. The seafood consists of crab, prawns and Lala shellfish. Tastes fresh and juicy with just simply cooking.
The juicy soup left in the bottom pot is then used to make soup by adding vegetables. It tastes quite light and flavourful.
Also have Egg Beancurd which turns out to be simple fried egg on plain sliced tofu, with a dash of soya sauce on top. Quite disappointed with this dish. The egg is simply overcooked.
When billing, I notice that the order list is very cute with pictures.
But I am surprised to be charged so much for food with RM3 for hot water since we bring our own tea leaves. Overall the food is average but quite expensive. As the restaurant is located in forest area, one cannot help but wonders where the fresh seafood comes from. Service is slow here even when there is only a couple of tables occupied. Remember to take a visit to the toilet. Not that the toilet is nice (it is ugly), but you will pass by vegetable patches on the way.
