Penang Curry Mee & Mihun @ RM5.50Brother order this curry mix noodle which attracted me to try seeing the appearance although i'm having slight sorethroat. The curry soup is not thick, actually watery style and is not very spicy. I like it because of the mild spice, you may add more chilli paste given if you like more spicy. It comes with generous of toufu pok, long beans, prawns, clams and yau yu. The prawns is sweet and fresh, and i like the tofu pok which soak full of the curry soup. Beware the curry juice burst out when you bite on the tofu pok. continue reading

As everyone knows, Penang style of Char Koay Teow is the most famous. Actually Sisters' Char Koay Teow is really famous in Penang. But I'm not sure whether this one in USJ16 is one of its branches or not. Since they said they came from Penang, so I assume it is one of the branches. I've tried Penang Char Koay Teow before. And what I want to comment on this Char Koay Teow is that : It really tastes like how it is in Penang! It serves with prawns, bean sprouts, cockles , chopped chives, of course egg and flat rice noodles. I'm not an expert in char koay teow, but based on my personal experience of watching how Penang hawker cook the CKT, I think the difference comes from the way of frying. They really know the stir-frying skills. I was quite satisfied with its rich penang flavour. Since I dont like spicy char koay teow, this one really suits my taste. Want to savour Penang authentic char koay teow without travelling a long distance Let's try Sisters' Char Koay Teow! continue reading
