这天晚上跟朋友来到这家brussels cafe吃晚餐，翻了翻他们的餐牌，看到有猪扒，就立刻点了，毕竟在外面比较不容易吃到有卖猪肉的西餐厅，所以每次遇到都要试下才行。虽然那猪扒上桌时显得有点小块，但味道却是好吃的，猪肉很嫩，而且用的酱料也很配合，好吃好吃。

Brussels' city branch is a lot breezier than its Jaya One outlet. The menu comprises all the favorites, including the piping-hot, tender meatballs cooked with Leffe Brune, onions and herbs Mussels cooked with coriander, celery, lemon & Hoegaarden. A fresh, flavorful pleasure. A bunch of fries gave us carbohydrate guilt. We managed to try the fruity "lambic beer." Both the Timmermans Framboise (tinged with raspberries) and Belle-vue Kriek (which leaned toward cherries) were enjoyably refreshing

Grilled Lamb Chop - Included in the set menu RM19.80++Don't let the slightly burnt out looks of the Grilled Lamb Chop deceive you, as it tasted like it had been marinated for days before being grilled and served for me. Needless to say it was really tasty. Now if only they toned down slightly on the fire. The whole dish had a slightly darker tinge to it. The lamb chop came with a generous slab of mashed potato to fill you up further. Most important is the meat is rather tender too with some burn

Price: RM19.80++ with soup and soft drinkThe Fish and Chips were served with fries which tasted like any other Fish and Chips should taste like. Nothing unusual for this dish. The fish is being deep fried with normal marinated powder. This dish is rather dry as there is no sauce provided except plain mayonnaise. But the portion is filling as it was being served with lot of fries. If only the fries is marinated with chilli powder, it will make the whole dish taste so much better

Half a pint of Belle-Vue Kriek - RM16I was told too that Brussels Beer Cafe served some really good and fresh beers which cater for the night crowd. My Belle-Vue Kriek was ordered upon recommendation from my friend, which I happily drank away to drown out all my sorrows. It tasted like berry juice with alcohol. The price for this drink is reasonable as it cost less than RM20 for an alcohol drink.

Meat sticks – RM10.80This is the first time I tried meat stick and served in a glass. It is pork actually. The portion is rather small for the price of RM10.80 with only three small pieces of pork. The meat was well marinated and cooked. You will not be identified it was a beef or pork on your first bite. The taste was similar. Even the portion is small but the meat is not oily and suitable for those who wish to eat meat but worried might get fat.

Priced at only RM19.80++ while dining at Brussels Beer Café, you will get a bowl of mushroom soup, with a main dish plus soft drinks. One of the main dish is the Ratatouille 'Pastilla'. I was rather intrigued with the Ratatouille 'Pastilla', which came looking like the above with no meat in sight save for the cheese. I was not a fan of the eggplant hence did not try this dish. Thinking of where to eat spaghetti, so we went to Brussels Beer Café. Brussels has an excellent and cozy interior with comfortable seatings and soft lightings.Roast Pork Aglio-Olio. Pasta with sauteed garlic, chili flake and roast pork.Cooked in aglio olio style, the spaghetti was al-dente. Portion was quite small and I basically felt nothing in my stomach after finishing the whole plate. The roasted pork was chewy and rubbery, still lose to those roasted pork I had in xiu lap stall.

When I reached Brussels Beer Cafe at Menara Hap Seng, the ambience was good. All the furniture are nicely set up. I ordered their Seafood linguine. When it served to my table, it looks good. This pasta is quite suit for those who not fancy cream or cheese. It taste good and the seafood are fresh.
