Had lunch after running some errands and my boyfriend and I decided to have some wanton noodles. We went to Pontian Wanton Noodles house because they serve quite delicious wanton noodles. And since the weather was so hot, we wanted an eating place that has air conditioning. We had their signature wanton noodles in black sauce and in large. We had their signature wanton noodles in black sauce and in large. The large bowl cost RM8.50, the medium cost RM7.50 and the small cost RM6.50. All were just RM1 difference. There were 3 different sauces you can choose from, either the black sauce, chilli and black sauce or tomato. This is the first time I came across such place that offers tomato sauce in wanton noodles! The fried wanton was really crispy and yummy and the noodles were flavourful.
Apart from that, we ordered honey dew sago for dessert. It was RM4.50 per bowl and contains watermelon, sago and honeydew dices. Really a refreshing drink on a hot day!

The first time i tried Pontian is this branch in SS15 , Subang Jaya. My boyfriend brought me there for a dinner. We ordered 2 plates of Wan Tan mee with chilli sauce+ black sauce , mine is small and his is medium. We also ordered a side dish of wan ton.The wantan mee is nice just i feel the mee is a bit too soft and not so springry. The wantan filling is too small but the skin is very nice and crunchy, i prefer teh fried one over the soup one.

Pontian wan tan noodles has been opening branches around Klang Valley area. I always feel the chinese name 笨珍 funny. I totally din't aware that they are a restaurant selling wan tan noodles and laksa until one day my friend took me there for makan.I order the dry wan tan noodle and requested for just wan tan without char siew. I order the dry wan tan noodle and requested for just wan tan without char siew. Yes i am not fond of red color char siew. Hence they gave me 4 deep fried wan tan (2 extra for replacing the char siew). The noodles texture is quite springy and the deep fried wan tan's skin is nice too. The wan tan meat is a little too small piece, can't even feel it if i'm not concentrating.
Not too bad overall but I do expect for better because they should be specialized on it not just average as a Wan Tan Noodle Restaurant.

Pontian Wan Tan Noodles is famous for the "red sauce" - the tomato sauce as the gravy. But that is one of the choices, you can choose from soy sauce or the mix of soy sauce and ketchup too. Back to the tomato sauce, why I remember watching from TV show that this creation was kind of a fusion between western style and eastern style, and which turned out to be an attraction. Although its main attraction is wantan noodles, on the menu you can see a lot of variety, from fried rice to bread toast, and hot tea to dessert. The one dessert that really excited me is the Tau Song (Split Green Bean Sweet Soup). This dessert brings back a lot of childhood memories. Not fancy Tau Song Then you can also try the melon coconut sago soup, red bean soup.

The restaurant is quite colourful where the tables and chairs are painted in different colours, but it is quite clean. The waiter and waitress are friendly, and they serve quite fast.

In a nutshell, it is a restaurant that suitable for all because everyone can choose the different dishes they want from menu, for lunchie or dinner.
