Roti Tampal. That morning, when this roti tampal was served to my friend, I was shocked at the texture of it because I have never seen nor heard of roti tampal before. It was a new term for me. The roti tampal was made up of the normal roti canai but the middle part as a piece of egg, similar texture to a sunnyside up but cooked. The egg yolk gave the roti canai a slight salty taste.
