I was feeling slightly peckish yet I didn't want anything heavy before going for my dinner when I stumbled upon Mochi Sweets. Initially I wanted to try the chocolate mochi, but they were out of stock and the shopkeeper told me their red bean was a best seller and I should give it a try. Initially I wanted to try the chocolate mochi, but they were out of stock and the shopkeeper told me their red bean was a best seller and I should give it a try. I'm not a big fan of red bean but seeing that I have no other choices that would entice my taste buds, I got a red bean mochi. I was told that you have to wait 15 minutes to let it defrost. The mochi skin was very smooth and sticks to your lips easily. Even though I don't like red bean, I have to admit it that the paste was pounded into a soft filling for the mochi.
