We checked in and starved walked along Chulia Street to look for food and stumbled into this crowded Chicken Rice and CharSiew place located in a retro looking painted blue restaurant. The Char Siew is nice but has too many burnt edges. It would be nice if nasi minyak (rice with chicken fat- yuck) is served instead of just white rice. We are also given a bowl of sweet sauce for the Char Siew and watercress soup to go with the rice. The food clears up pretty fast with its constant stream of customers so be there before 1pm! I would go there again to try their roast chicken! MSG level is mild.
