Signature Dishes
The Stir-fried Scallop with Ginger & Spring Onion is something plain but tasty, after a heavy crab dish. Not salty and the vegetable that go along with the fried scallop is fresh ;) Scallop is big in size and well soaked to its original size before stir fried as the texture of the scallop is soft and chewable. Its fried with tasty natural flavouring, as its not too thirsty at all after this dish.

Have a crabby dinner for last two weekend.We order spicy chilli crab and it looks way more appealing compare to the salted egg yoke crab that we ordered.We ordered some mantao or bread to eat along with the chilli crabs but the bread is a little too oily for me but the crab was great and yet not too spicy. Salted egg crab once it served it does not even look appealing and the taste does not even taste like salted egg yoke is kinda disappointing and all of us don't even bother to finish this salted egg yoke crabs I think this is not recommended to order! Marmite chicken was additional dish we ordered and it was great too!

I do not really visit Kepong much for the food even though I have quite a few relatives staying there as I am not really familiar with the roads of Kepong but whenever I do visit my relatives there, this is the restaurant we would always visit for the seafood. One of my favourite dishes here is the butter crab and the price of seafood here is quite reasonable too if compared to the prices charged in KL.

De Foodland Seafood Restaurant is famous for cooking up to 30 types of crabs. Some of the popular ones are butter crab, marmite crab, steamed crabs, salted egg crabs, etc. Still we like to order sweet and spicy crab. We just love this sauce, it's very spicy and sweet. Best eaten with the deep fried bun. The sauce is thick and besides sweet and spicy, there are garlic and egg in the sauce. They are generous in cooking lots of sauce for this dish, so that we will not run out of sauce. The crabs were huge and meaty. The crab meats came off the shells easily, save me lots of hassle. We like that the sauce coated every single piece of the crabs.
