I actually refrained from ordering a drink at first, as I felt that it was quite expensive. However, after consuming the dishes, I was feeling rather thirsty, hence decided to order a pandan water to share with wifey. A glass costs RM4.50, which I thought was a total rip-off. How much can it cost to boil some plain water, pandan leaves and sugar... One good thing was that the drink wasn't diluted as it was chilled beforehand. Slightly sweet, it washes away the saltiness in the mouth after the huge meal. I still think it is expensive, and on top of that, it wasn't refillable. continue reading

Sawasde Thai Restaurant is located at Regalia Business Centre. It's somewhere at Subang Jaya.Sawasde Thai Restaurant is a restaurant which served different type of Thai Cuisine and dishes. I like Thai food especially their appetizer, tom yam and seafood dishes. This is the thai fish cake.Thai fish cake is a really famous thai appetizer. So,why not we try it.Very nice i would say.The thai fish cake is so tender and juicy. It's not too dry and the fish cake is so fragrant. It totally different with the chinese fish cake.It a little bit spicy and the texture is totally different. It is much tender and tasty. The portion is quite huge and the fish cake size is very big too.You can dip it with the chilli sauce if you want to. continue reading

The spring roll itself is fluffy and very crispy. Youcan even heard the sound when you bitting it. The filling inside is tender and juicy. It taste even better if you dip it with their home chilli sauce. I really like this very much.As you can see, the portion is really big. It'senough for 3-4 person. continue reading

How long since the last time you have a bowl of Tomyam? For me it was....umm. Can't recall back cause none of the Thai restaurant leave me good memories. ;P sorry to say that. Until I found this place, Sawasdee Thai. This is absolutely fantastic. I fell in love with the Tom yam soup at the first sip.The sweet and sour flavor adjusted so nicely together with the 'marine' creature such as prawns, squid and fish, they're always best friends when it comes to Tom yam as they're always together. ;PThe spiciness can be adjusted according to your liking, just remember to put down your request upon ordering. The clam is notably juicy as it was imported all the way from Phillipines. It was literally fresh too! The sourish kick in the palate can really increase your appetite! Me gusto! ;) The Thai soup is also one of an authentic kind which cannot be found anywhere else...It was enriched with the aroma of 'belachan'( shrimp paste), lemongrass, asam and the bird's eye chili, sightly salty but..Me still gusto!I drooled over my keypad when I reminisced about this...*wipe wipe*hehe..Loads of coconut milk. Perfectly blended with all kinds of spices and herbs. This dish was pretty decent I would say. ;)Last but not least, this particular Smoked Duck is highly recommended because of the smokiness of the duck meat, this is chef's secret recipe which makes everyone comes back for more!Kelvin, the boss said this dish best go with beer. Cheers! Will definitely come back for this again with my mom! ;DShe's a Thai Food lover! ;) *double thumbs up continue reading

While on the look-out for some satisfying Thai dishes, I found this Sawasde Thai Restaurant in Subang Jaya looks inviting from its entrance. Look at the attap roof; It gives a really Thai feel there. Stepping into the warm, friendly atmosphere that Sawasde offers, I feel more than pleased to enjoy my meal there. It is suitable for almost any occasion, be it a celebration, casual gathering, family dinner or co-workers meeting.Sawasde Special Fish @ RM40This is one of the best-selling dish at Sawasde. The Ikan Siakap here is deep-fried before being immersed in Thai-styled soup. Made of blended belacan, dried chillies and lemongrass, the soupbase is a must-try even for non-spicy eaters! The fish is very fresh with flaky flesh. The best thing is that you can always request the kitchen for a milder or stronger taste, entirely up to your preference!Steamed Lala in Thai Style @ RM25The clams are freshly flown from Phillipines daily, and I'm glad to sample all the fresh ones without any mud taste. The soup is clear but rich in this seafood flavour, with a hint of sweetness behind the mild taste. continue reading
