This restaurant is highly recommended by me, as a person who will never stop loving their signature dish, Nasi Lemak with Fried Chicken!

My Teh Tarik and his Milo Dinosaur. As usual, I ordered Teh Tarik, the so-called "pulled tea", to couple with my Nasi Lemak with Fried Chicken. It's the kind of heavy breakfast or brunch that I have always loved. My boyfriend wanted to try something new and special, so he had a cup of Milo Dinosaur. It is literally Iced Milo topped with a thick layer of milo powder. It is fun to eat the powder alone, but it might be too filling for me.

Nasi Lemak with Fried Chicken. Indeed, other than this, I have never ordered anything else that is available in the restaurant. That’s how much I love their Nasi Lemak with Fried Chicken! I still couldn't figure out the ingredients used to fry the chicken, but I would say that no one has ever produced anything that tastes similarly to that of Village Park Restaurant, Damansara Uptown. They're always crispy and tender too!

Looking for a place for something more affordable yet filling and heavy around Subang Jaya? Salmon Steak Restaurant would be one of the best choices!

Iced Cappuccino. Although I love coffee, I am far from being an expert in this field. I couldn't tell if it was prepared using their very own recipe or readily made in 3-in-1 packets. However, the taste was strong. Rou Han, my friend who tagged along, agreed that it had strong smell of cappuccino.

Spaghetti Chicken Chop. As you can see from this photo, it was served with a piece of boneless chicken chop, spaghetti Bolognese, and coleslaw. Personally, the spaghetti Bolognese tasted similarly to the one that we usually cook at home. The coleslaw wasn't special either. What literally surprised me though, was the piece of tender, juicy boneless chicken chop. For a restaurant like this, I never expected it to be that unusually good. Needless to say, I was definitely delighted. lol

Rou Han commented that she likes their huge piece of lamb chop as well. Worth a try!

Pork Lovers Aglio Olio. It was a big portion of spaghetti with roasted pork (literally roasted in Chinese style), honey ham, smoked bacon, and a huge meatball, tossed together in garlic and olive oil. Personally, it tasted good, but could have been much better. Serving such roasted pork in western style seemed weird for me. Still, I would really love to return again someday to try out the other types of spaghetti!

By the way, be sure to be there earlier because it's always crowded.

Wild Mushroom Spaghettini with Mascarpone. It was very similar to Plan B's Wild Mushroom Pasta, cooked together with small pieces of lemon and scented with truffle oil, but with some sauce. The portion was relatively smaller than Plan B's as well, but it was very filling for me. The amount of mushrooms wasn't satisfying enough for a mushroom lover like me though.

Chocolate Truffle Torte, served with a glass of icy cold milk. It's nice to be shared among five people or above, but having it alone or less than five people might disgust you due to its texture. It was more like a piece of chocolate mousse, served when it was still more solid, but became so much softer by the time we finished our meal.

Berrific Sundae. One of my girl friends who came along ordered this because she wanted to have something cold and sweet. It was filled with a few types of berries, vanilla ice-cream, and dripped with chocolate sauce. Even though our stomachs were all bloated, we didn't hesitate to finish it without taking a break. So satisfyingly good!

Despite situated in Klang, the location wasn't too far from Subang Jaya. It was a sudden decision that my girls and I made to travel all the way to the restaurant just for a bowl of Mee Hoon Kuih. Honestly, it wasn't exactly the taste that we were attracted to, but the homely feeling. It wasn't exactly the soup that we loved, but the feeling as we bit a piece of mee hoon kuih. Each and every piece of mee hoon kuih was made to its thinnest before being thrown into the pot to be cooked with the soup. Although the mee hoon kuih were almost equally thin, they're still very springy. With empty stomach, we waited for almost one hour until our food was served. Imagine the crowd!
