Loh Pan Mee Smile Jun 16, 2012

They having set lunch promotion recently and thus decided to have a try. Although is set lunch promotion, but the price also not that cheap, need at least RM13++ except the introductory items. The introductory items might change but I am not sure when they will change once. The introductory items right now is Loh Mee, which cost RM11.90++ with a drink and dessert. I ordered one of this but change the mee to Pan Mee where their Pan Mee is Hakka Handmade Style.

The texture of this Loh Pan Mee looks like Shark’s Fin Soup, hehe. The gravy was a thick egg drop soup enriched with cabbage but it’s quite salty. The Pan Mee was springy and smooth which is nice to eat. Besides, the amount of squid and prawn were quite a lots and it was so fresh.

From the door of restaurant they showing that the foods serving here are without any MSG and yet I proven that was truth as my noodle were salty but I won’t feel thirsty after having it, another healthy restaurant you can chose it. But you must come early during lunch hour as it is full of crowd and the seats available at here are quite limited.

I seldom patronized to this restaurant as their service is quite slow where I feel that is quite rush for me to having my lunch within less than 30 minute.

Ordered their Fried Dong Fun (Cellophane Noodles) where includes cabbage and carrot slices, fish paste, pork slices and prawns inside. Although it was taste well but is quite oily and too wet for the noodles. The portion looks average but after ate it, I feel that the portion is too much for me and yet I feel overfull.

Sang Mee Smile Jun 16, 2012

First time went here having lunch and I just feel that wasting my time as I have been waiting for 30 minutes for serving me the free herbal drink and waiting for more than 45 minutes for my foods! Super slow service at here!

Luckily, the Sang Mee I ordered is still eatable. The Sang Mee is being fried and soaked in gravy which enriched with egg flower, fish paste, cabbage slices and flowering Chinese cabbage. Noodles were crispy and go well when mixed with gravy together. You must try to eat this noodle as fast as possible; if not the noodles will get soften easily.

Fried Loh See Fun Smile Jun 16, 2012   (Related Review)

This time ordered another dish in here, Fried Loh See Fen where cooked with bean sprouts, pork slice and prawns. Overall, it was tasty and average portion in every ingredient where you can have a try. Although is a bit oily, but I still can accept it as I understand that if cook with little oil, the Loh See Fen will like stick together which harder to eat.

Oyster Mee Sua Cry Jun 16, 2012

Since is a Taiwanese cuisine and yet to order some famous dish and Oyster Mee Sua is one of it. I get shocked when the food is being served as the mee sua was just in a little small bowl and with only a few of mini oysters inside it, I am able to finish it after a few spoons only. Although the gravy is thick but is too salty and the tastes not like the one Shihlin Taiwan Snack Street, definitely not to order it again!
