long time haven't visit Restaurant Chi Ka Yin,suddently think of their pan mee and abacus Seeds,so we went to have our lunch.
Not many customers during lunch time ,we order 2 bowl of pan mee, 1 spring roll,1 abacus Seeds and 2 glass of sour plum juice.abacus Seeds is one of their signature dish,these button-shaped stuffs r made by yam ,very chewy The sour plum juice is ok,nothing specialDifferent shop with different taste of pan mee,this restaurant one is "light" type, so you won't feel thirsty after finish it(even finished the soup)hakka spring roll is their another signature dish,we used to order this when we dine here .We love the crispy skin and it is aromatic, the ingredient is meat and vegetables blended together,no wonder this is their best selling item

Their food are quite delicious and not expensive,it's worth to try again n again

Saw the advertisement of Cafe Barbera just opened a new branch at Setia Walk which nearby my home,so we went to have a try.

They have new opening promotion,said each set is RM15+....but it is quite misleading because when we arrived and check the menu,only local food is RM15 ,pasta needs RM20,pizza needs RM25. But each set including soup,main course,drink and dessert,I still consider it as worth la.

The environment is great, I love the pics and mirror all around the ceiling and wall,when we waiting for the food can also admire the place. The soup taste great,at the beginning I was a little bit afraid that I won;t like it cos the waiter told me it contains celery which I hate...luckily it is no celery smell. I order fruit juice and my hubby order coffee,the fruit juice won't be too sweet,taste just right but too much ice...I think I should order less ice next time. Coffee is cafe barbera's signature drink, no surprised that the coffee taste and smell is good enough.The pizza is really really tasty and crispy,but too thin ....feel like eating biscuit....The texture of the pasta is good,won;t be too soft ,but I just wonder why the portion is that small??Is because of set or it is the original size?? it just contains few slices of mushroom n dry tomato, we have to eat again when we were home ...the mini cake is really super mini,adult can finish eat for one bite but since it is OVER Sweet....even my little gal also doesn't want to eat

overall the place is nice,food n drink also very nice ,only the portion not big enough...I;m not sure is this their original style..but from what I see on other blogger...look like their a la carte portion is bigger and with more mushroom...

Anyway I will return n try other food again

I seldom eat porridge because I hate to finish whole big bowl "hot" liquid ...

But I love yoo! 's dry scallop porridge is ok for me cos their portion not big,eat with their crunchy you tiao plus a glass of
soyabean is really a great combination.

They have value set for you to choose and all are less than RM10,my family members love this food shop very much ,especially most of their branches staying at those famous shopping mall , when we already spent a lot of power and money on shopping," i love yoo!" is always the fastest n cheapest choice for us to have a rest and 'refill" energy

Puchong have a lot of dim sum shop,but most of them are not nice at all. In fact,I prefer to dine at a shop with air con because drink hot tea under a place without air con is really hard to stand for me (this is HK ppl style...used to go to air con shop only)

Taiji Eatery is one of the dim sum shop without air con but I willing to visit cos their dim sum is not bad and the price is reasonable. of course u cannot expect the place is very clean ,u may see some rubbish under the table and the table is little bit sticky but still acceptable.

Most of the time we visited it on Sat or Sun, even very crowded but have more choices of dim sum on weekend ..this time I visited it on weekday and don't have much to choose.

The staffs are nice and friendly, would give u suggestion what to eat and introduce new food to you. this time they suggest us to order their new dish ,I forgot the name..just remember is something like a fish + ham( u can see from the pic) ...the taste is not good and we don;t like this combination... Won't order it again !

Other dim sum such as shrimp dumpling, chicken feet,cheung fun all are good as usual, but if the shrimp dumpling wrapper can be more tender would be better.

I highly recommend the sesame ball with lotus paste, everytime I come must order this .However, they only pre-made it during weekend, for weekday u won't see it on the dim sum tray . You must order it by your own and the chef will make it for u at once, that's why it is more fresh n crunchy than weekend

Although their sim sum is not the best , it is still my budget choice when I haven't receive my salary

Since we bought some cash coupon from My Honeymoon Dessert @ sunway pyramid before,I wanna spend it as soon as possible..worry it will close suddently( cos I already can't see the sunway branch already)

Visit the nearest one~ IOI Boulevard branch,no customer inside the shop when we arrived.

We order strawberry n mango snow ice,as well as a mango drink with pearl. The strawberry snow ice is great, but the mango snow ice is tasteless ,I think is because of the mango not sweet,so the snow ice because no taste at all.

The mango drink has the same problem as mango snow ice ...it's quite disappointed cos I;m a mango lover,used to order dessert with mango but look like this time I order wrong items.. Lucky is the drink is order for my little gal,kid drinks less sweet drink is better,haha.But my gal just keep eating the pearl more than drink the mango juice

After deducted the RM30 cash coupon,we only need to pay RM3.

Lastly I must say their staffs are lazy and look like dont want to work ,always hide away to chat chat chat ,I think if we run away without pay,they will not notice too...sigh!!!!! (No wonder no customer....)
