When I was living in Hk,Watami is one of my favorite japanese restaurant ,that's why I felt very excited to know it opened at KL.
Finally I had a chance to visit it and see see the taste is as great as HK one or not.

We visited the restaurant at 11:30am,maybe still early, there is only 2 customers besides us, so they serve us very fast and all of the staffs are very friendly. we order 2 lunch set which including salad,the salad is fresh,I like the corn,heheonion rings is very crispy but a little bit oilyBeef pepper rice is what I must recommend ,remember to wait for a while first if u want to eat more charred rice cos the pot is very hot,and if u r same as me dont like to eat raw beef,u can also stir the beef in the pot,beef turn to medium/well done very fast,hohoyasai tempura,not bad but I think I won't order it next time cos I prefer the one with prawnthis is tokyo gyudon ,I don't like the udon cos it has fishlike smell...but my hubby said it is ok. luckily the rice is great,especially the beef,me n my hubby finished it very fast,hehe

A little bit disappointed is they don;t serve pork and they forgot to give us 15% discount for à la carte item(they
r having promotion that if u dine from 11am-12:00pm,u can enjoy 15% discount for à la carte ) we didn't check the bill until we were home...so next time must check bill before pay if u visit it before 12pm

I'm a super dim sum lover and born in Hong Kong ,after I moved to Malaysia,I used to go to try different dim sum shop/restaurant to ease my Homesickness...but the most of the taste is not really same as HK one...EXCEPT Ah Yat Abalone Forum Restauran

They moved from Avenue k to Life center in May,the new one looks better than the old one ,service also better than the past.

About the food,all remain the standard,love their shrimp dumpling,the shrimp is fresh n the 'skin" is not thick,very good
chicken feets is my hubby's favorite but I don't eat chicken so I can't give comment...my hubby said the taste is good and quite similar to HK one.

Puchong have a lot of bars,most of them with live band. But me and my friends prefer those without live band cos we just want to enjoy the wine and chat d'TREE is one of the wine bar we love ,their staffs are friendly and talkative,sometimes my friends would chat with them and ask about the new wine ,They have wide range of wine from different countries,,it's really interesting to see so many wine at the same timeIt's an Argentina red wine recommended by my friend,it is quite easy to drink and the price is reasonable.

The environment is great,highly recommend to those who love to find a quiet place to chit chat with friends .

Saw the advertisement of Cafe Barbera just opened a new branch at Setia Walk which nearby my home,so we went to have a try.

They have new opening promotion,said each set is RM15+....but it is quite misleading because when we arrived and check the menu,only local food is RM15 ,pasta needs RM20,pizza needs RM25. But each set including soup,main course,drink and dessert,I still consider it as worth la.

The environment is great, I love the pics and mirror all around the ceiling and wall,when we waiting for the food can also admire the place. The soup taste great,at the beginning I was a little bit afraid that I won;t like it cos the waiter told me it contains celery which I hate...luckily it is no celery smell. I order fruit juice and my hubby order coffee,the fruit juice won't be too sweet,taste just right but too much ice...I think I should order less ice next time. Coffee is cafe barbera's signature drink, no surprised that the coffee taste and smell is good enough.The pizza is really really tasty and crispy,but too thin ....feel like eating biscuit....The texture of the pasta is good,won;t be too soft ,but I just wonder why the portion is that small??Is because of set or it is the original size?? it just contains few slices of mushroom n dry tomato, we have to eat again when we were home ...the mini cake is really super mini,adult can finish eat for one bite but since it is OVER Sweet....even my little gal also doesn't want to eat

overall the place is nice,food n drink also very nice ,only the portion not big enough...I;m not sure is this their original style..but from what I see on other blogger...look like their a la carte portion is bigger and with more mushroom...

Anyway I will return n try other food again

I moved to Puchong over 2 years,but this is my first time to visit Imperial Palace Restaurant. The environment is nice and clean,staffs all with a warm smile on their
face,Very Good!!

Me and My hubby ordered 6 dim sums plus 1 Hakka dumpling. The dumpling is big and quite delicious,my hubby loves it very much

About the dim sum, most of them r quite good,especially the Steam beancurd sheet rolls(鮮竹卷),the taste is just right ,not like some of the dim sum shop very salty.The Imperial dim sum duo contain two shrimp dumpling & two siu mai, the size is really big ,the taste not bad but not the best..The only thing I 'm not satisfy is steam veg flour roll ,actually the taste is nice and I love the flour roll full of veggie,but it is too OILY!!! just one bite,ur mouth would be full of oil...feel like very un-healthy...hoping they will improve it cos I love this dish very muchtotal bill is 77.9 including tax n service charge,I think it is worth to try again
