As recommended by our waiter, we ordered a serving of Couscous Lamb which is served in a lidded clay pot.

For our order of Couscous Lamb, the dish is served with lamb stew with several chunks of lamb ribs. The mutton gravy is very strong and appetizing, yet not too spicy compared to Malay or Indian cuisine. As for the lamb, the mutton is quite juicy and soft due to extended stewing.

I went for Combo 1 today. The ramen is the Spicy Minced Meat Ramen. The ramen noodles are chewy and delectable, very easy in the mouth. It is very spicy, which is why I selected this in the first place.

Besides the noodles, other ingredients are braised egg, sweetcorn, minced meat sauce, chicken floss, shredded carrots and shredded radishes. The portion is also reasonably big by my standards.

Our dinner today is Chongqing Hot Pot.

The Pork Slices are among the best I ever tasted! The meat is a good mixture of lean and fatty sections. In less than a minute, the thin cuts of pork are quickly cooked in the simmering broth.

The Clear Broth is not as plain as one will expect. It is rich in chicken flavor and quite appetizing. It also has a mild hint of natural sweetness from goji berries.

Chou Shun Kan is a Japanese restaurant in Krystal Point.

I ordered a Karubi Bento for dinner. The Karubi was well marinated and easy on the tongue, and was sliced thin enough such that the pieces were not too tough to chew. The bento set also came with Stir-Fried Cabbage, Salad, Soup, Rice, Watermelon and Green Tea.

The food was quite good and the atmosphere was very nice. It's a good place to have a quiet dinner alone or a small group of friends.
