AKACHAN NO HOPPE MO CHEEKS Smile Dec 11, 2013

Say Hello to Mo Cheeks! So during July, my friend and I got to know about Akachan No Hoppe Mo Cheeks located at the 3rd Floor Centre Court, Mid Valley. We just can’t handle the cuteness of the packaging and the Mo Cheeks look so soft then we decided to buy one and try. We got ourselves a Double Chocolate Mo Cheeks and it was DELICIOUSSS! It’s not the same as those typical Mochi. The texture is so different. End up we pack a box of 6 home with different flavours and of course DOUBLE CHOCOLATE!

Some information of Akachan No Hoppe:

It is pastries which are packed with natural blessings, love, and smiles. Try touching one gently and you will definitely feel the soft, love-filled fluffiness that comes naturally in our products just like Akachan no Hoppe which means "Baby cheeks" in Japanese.
The Akachan no Hoppe brand was birthed in the city of Itoigawa, Niigata prefecture of Japan - a city blessed with natural abundance. Artisans at the long-established Yamakawa confectionary exquisitely harmonized the techniques of traditional Japanese confectionery together with the charms of Western delicacy, creating an exciting, never-before-tasted texture and delicious pastries.

This is a super overdue post. Went to Pavillion KL with friends and found RUSCO Concept Store. Was attracted by the colourful rusk displayed in their store. So a little introduction of RUSCO, it’s a premium brand under Yataro Group that launched few years ago in Japan. The tastiness of RUSCO originated from their unique baking method of baguettes. They spent time making the dough by using the wheat flour from Hokkaido and mix it by using the European style small size mixer. Then, spread the delegated dough by hand follows by the first baking process. The texture of the crunchiness and crumbles are made from the preferred ingredients, unique method and hand-made.

Vivid colour of RUSCO, not only tasty but also fun to look at!

Look at the cute packaging! 6pcs packaging.

RUSCO consists of 8 Flavours :

Honey, Sweet Chocolate, Raspberry, Green Tea, Black Sesame, Blueberry, Caramel Almond and Valencia Orange.

Price:
2 Pieces Per Bag – RM4
6 Pieces Per Bag – RM10
4 Flavour Colourful Gift Box – RM38
6 Flavour Colourful Gift Box – RM56
8 Flavour Colourful Gift Box – RM72

So I bought a 4 Flavour Colorful Gift Box back home. Consist of Blueberry, Raspberry, Chocolate and Sesame.
And they also include a brochure for their customers to know more about them. Personally, I love the chocolate flavour because I’m a chocolate lover. But overall, it was good! The rusk is delicious and simply crunchy. Yummy! Besides that, you can purchase RUSCO online and will be delivered to you. A perfect gift for yourself and your loves one too!
